With some of the questionable casting decisions made for Amazing Race 6 and now with the stunt casting again of "celebrities" (Rob and Amber) for number 7, it doesn't bode well for the direction and future of the show.
I found Alison and Donnie both annoying and sad during their participation on AR 5. |
I think this is pretty cool. More Amber on television = :thumbsup:
Plus it is great cross-promotion. AR doesn't get the ratings of Survivor. Now many who watch only Survivor will tune to AR. |

I started watching this season, but quickly stopped as I could not stand most of the cast, and hated several couples. Looks like I choose the wrong season to start watching. I will try again this next season. |

What they should do is have an Amazing Race All-Stars but then switch all the teams around on the first episode. For example, who wouldn't want to see Jonathan paired up with Flo?

I was talking about this earlier today with a friend of mine.
It will be better if the other teams actually know who they are, from watching "All Stars". That way, they would know how much of a threat that Rob (and Amber) can be. Then again, many teams in TAR are eliminated because they beat themselves (not necessarily because of another team). |
Since I can't stand to even look at Rob, this might be the first season of AR that I don't watch.
