I watched the show religiously for most of it's run, though my interest did fade in the last season. I was seriously pissed off with the way it ended as there was no sense of closure for me (I know people would argue that with me, but this IMHO) and I kinda put the show out of my mind. In talking with a friend of mine about the show recently (spurred on by recent talk of another X-Files movie finally being made), we were discussing the plot threads & twists that were never really explained very well or at all. Then I realized maybe they were but I wasn't paying attention since I was quickly losing interest by the end.

Was the purpose of the super soldier ever fully explained? Was Scully's pregnancy a product of divine or alien influence? Anyways, I have browsed several websites and they seem to differ in explanations.

Are there any other questions that were not truly answered?
