Not really heavy on the laughs, but a good episode nonetheless. Good to see Dr Jan Itor's cronies back with him, as well as the return of Ted's singing group.

Haha, you mean the singing group was featured previously? I figured it was just a joke for this ep. They really need to release DVDs of the first 3 seasons for those of us like me who have never seen them!
Another newbie question: Is the opening theme song sung by Zach Braff? It sounds like him. Also, has it always been that short?

The full song is Superman by Lazlo Bane, and it is longer than that.
Ted's group has been on a few episodes before, and sang TV themes for one episode. I think that they are called the Worthless Peons, but someone can correct me.
Has anyone called the Turk number lately?

Did they got a different cafeteria guy, I thought it used to be a former wrestler.

The complete original song is available on iTunes.

The song is also on the soundtrack for Scrubs.

Don't have the numbers on hand, but it looks like Scrubs got smoked in the ratings last night.
I really can't relate to Mr. Average Television Viewer lately.

Yes, but they hired a DJ that did not show and Ted offered their service for twice what he offered before. Carla agrees, gives Ted a $20 bill, and he says thanks as he hands her back a $10 and states "heres you' change", classic Ted.
