Oh well, the first 3 seasons were great.
So your telling me you gave up on 24 hours of entertainment (including commercials) because you didn't like the first 20 minutes? 24 takes time to heat up. The end of the hour was killer. Don't give up so soon.

I agree. All of the previous seasons have taken me atleast 2-4 episodes to get into it, but already I'm hooked!

This season is definitely off to a great start. The terrorist appear to be smarter, and Jack is fighting on 2 fronts. Thankfully they got rid of Ronnie soon, I was getting sick of the guy after just an hour. Also, so grateful Kim is not on this show, having Audrey is enough for Jack to have a personal stake in this day.

Glad that Ronnie is gone. Didn't like him at all.

So far so good

Liked everything except Jack getting knocked on his ass by the wannabe. Kinda made Jack look bad. But otherwise were off to a great start. Can't wait till tomorrow.

I'd never seen "24" before and thought I'd give tonight's episodes a shot. I think that I'm hooked. I'm going to have to do a marathon of the first 3 seasons sometime.

"Spare me your sixth grade Michael Moore logic." Ha!

this is better then last year. I love the change, makes it freash. Why cant Alias new change be like this? I liked when they got the general of defense. when shes talking to jack and she says "my god" and then you see the rocket fly behind her.

This is such a good and exciting show. best show on TV.

and who said the first 20 minutes were boring. This was the best premire episode of 24. I got hooked right away. usually it takes atleast 2 episodes.

I liked the scene before Jack and Ronnie went out of CTU and Jack had to "look up" to Ronnie because he was taller and was supposed to control Jack. You just knew that wasn't going to work out.

I wonder what this big plot will be with the briefcase being brought to the terrorist hideout by the kid. If they were in USA preparing for nearly 5 years, its got to be something huge.

Is it just me or did the guy Behruz hands the briefcase to look exactly like Peter Macdissi (Claire's art teacher Olivier on Six Feet Under - I didn't just know that I had to look it up). IMDB says no, but I was totally sure. Oh well.

This totally kicked ass. I mourn the loss of Palmer and Almeida (and even Dessler a little), but anyone who says Jack isn't their favorite character is frickin' insane, so I say let's go. I love the 24 style of "everyone is an idiot besides Jack". To be fair, in the first season Palmer was also not stupid.

I tell you, as a Minnesota native living in Wisconsin, I just had six hours of pure Fox bliss. Today rocks.

I thought it was a good two hours. I really liked the revamped cast. I wish they wouldn't have put Jack shooting the guy in the thigh in the previews but other then that no complaints.

No Kim

Huzeza is right, the terrorists are badasses. I especially like that creepy family. I love the webcam hook. Feels like what's happening today with the beheadings.

i was really happy with the first 2 hours as well. i actually started watching last season and loved the show. i picked up season 1 recently to watch but even though i knew some twists in advance it was still amazing. i was suppose to watch season 2 before the 4th season started but someone accidentally picked me up season 1 again and i didnt get a chance to return it yet im upset that all of the characters from last season are gone but hopefully they will make guest appearances or something.

I think it's off to a great start, I can't wait for tomorrow's episodes. I was kind of skeptical about the revamping of the cast, but I liked it.

Tony & Michelle will be back for sure, and it's very possible Palmer will return in some capacity. I would expect them to bring back Kim and Chase at some point as well. Even if not in a major role. But thats just my guess.
