Very sad.
I will always remember him as the man who put Baby in a corner. |

The Fantasticks Song: TRY TO REMEMBER Music: Harvey Schmidt Lyrics: Tom Jones Book: Tom Jones Premiere: Tuesday, May 3, 1960 Try to remember the kind of September When life was slow and oh, so mellow. Try to remember the kind of September When grass was green and grain was yellow. Try to remember the kind of September When you were a tender and callow fellow. Try to remember, and if you remember, Then follow. Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow, Follow, follow, follow, follow. Try to remember when life was so tender That no one wept except the willow. Try to remember when life was so tender That dreams were kept beside your pillow. Try to remember when life was so tender That love was an ember about to billow. Try to remember, and if you remember, Then follow. Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow, Follow, follow, follow, follow. Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow, Follow, follow, follow, follow. Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow, Follow, follow, follow, follow. Deep in December, it's nice to remember, Although you know the snow will follow. Deep in December, it's nice to remember, Without a hurt the heart is hollow. Deep in December, it's nice to remember, The fire of September that made us mellow. Deep in December, our hearts should remember And follow. |
Damn... :(

He was also great in Crimes and Misdemeanors.
RIP Lumiere. |
Some actors find the perfect role. It makes them and they make it more than anyone else could. It does not happen often. He was that role and had a great run. Damn I'm going to miss him. I didn't think any of these people could get to me anymore. His death has proved me wrong.

Very sad news .... I was lucky enough to see many of his on-stage appearances through the years, and his loss to the theatre community is immense. Although most people now know him because of the TV series, he was connected with many major Broadway hits during the 60's and 70's - as a matter of fact, two the the shows that he originally starred in are currently enjoying revivals on Broadway (<i>Chicago, 42nd Street</i>).

Wow.....Rest in peace, Jerry.

No.nonononononono!

Don't forget "Last Exit to Brooklyn"
I really liked his wisecracks on Law & Order. Too bad. edit: my mistake, it was "Last Exit to Brooklyn", not "F.I.S.T.". Wrong depression-era union organizer movie. |
A true loss. The shining star of L&O for me.
|
WTF! That stinks. :(
|
I want all the angels and saints to now join in a chorus of "Be Our Guest"...
|
:( "Try to remember."
|
That sucks. :(
|
:( Damn, that's terrible.
Guess I won't be watching much of TBJ. |
Rip
:( |
Damn, thats sad to hear...Will have to watch some re-runs of L&O tonight in his memory.
|
OMG! I am shocked.
I also heard he had cancer, but news outlet said he was doing okay. This was less than a month ago. :( |
Classy guy.
|
Ouch!!
Just seeing the thread title knocked me for a loop. Watching all these many years of L&O almost makes his death personal, kinda like I knew him...... |
This sucks:(
