The argument between Sandy and Jen was grueling to watch. You rarely see such raw emotional agression. Both a high point and low point for the show in a way. I'm bummed that Sandy lost though. I have a lot more respect for her than Jen even though he's totally wrong for a corporation like Trump's.
|
And yet, Trump made it seem like all that bickering was about standing up for yourself, and showed Andy to the door when he was being the classiest one in the bunch a few boardrooms ago.
Both PMs have so-so underlings (by design, I sure, to maximize the turmoil managers face with subordinates who will test them). |
I find the show becomes less interesting to watch once the final four is decided. I'm sure all four people will do every well after their 15 minutes of fame, and that's why it really doesn't matter to me who wins the job next week. After all, Donald Trump is the boss and he can hire either one he sees fit mainly for the PR.
BTW, what happened to the integrity of this show? NBC's website practically announced the final two even before this episode was aired and the earlier betting spoiler also turned out to be true. |
After watching this I have to say... neither one is really good.
It's obvious Jen has no clue what's going on. She's completely lost and doesn't really seem to understand what she's supposed to do. She's at least delegating responsibilites, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to who is getting what. She only seems to come ot life when she's being attacked or screwed over (the Weber cancellation thing). But is Kelly that much better? He clearly understands his own role better, but for all this talk about his leadership skills, he has no real control over his team. The only reason they're getting anything accomplished is because his team for the most part wants to win (and he has the better team). Stick him with an Omarosa type and what would he do? |

I don't think that is necessarily true. |
It sucks Jen is in the final two and not Kevin, but at this point, I don't think it matters who is #2 since Kelly has this wrapped up. They probably just went for more drama with Jen.
Kevin's sudden firing reminds me of Amy last year: a front runner throughout the game, but dismissed after the interview. |

Want to win. Regardless, it really doesn't matter. I think Kelly would win with either team. |
Man, that Elizabeth is a hottie! I was so happy to see her return for an encore. I'll be on the lookout for some vidcaps.

A bit more about the spoilers:
Online Bookie Confirms 'Apprentice' Insider Betting (Friday, December 10 11:05 AM) LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) When online gaming site BetWWTS.com shut down wagering on "The Apprentice" in September, it said it was doing so because of an unusually high number of bets on two contestants, all originating from the same place. The Antigua-based company suspected the person or people making the bets had advance knowledge of who the final two contestants would be. Turns out they were right. On Thursday's (Dec. 9) episode of the NBC series, viewers learned that 37-year-old software exec Kelly Perdew and 30-year-old lawyer Jennifer Massey will be vying for the "Apprentice" title and a job with real-estate mogul Donald Trump. But whoever placed heavy wagers on the two with BetWWTS knew that in September, the company says. "When we discovered the unusual betting on 'The Apprentice,' we knew that we were the victim of another insider betting scandal on a reality show and that our suspicions would be proven accurate," Stuart Doyle, the site's wagering director, says in a statement. "It was obvious from the similar geographic location of the accounts, timing of the wagers and nature of the bets that this was more than a simple conspiracy theory, but more likely the by-product of a leak from someone involved with the show." The presumed insider placed $1,000 worth of bets on both Perdew and Massey, who were each given 10-1 odds of winning at the outset. BetWWTS says it will honor those wagers, which means it will pay out $10,000 after next weeks finale. The bets on Perdew and Massey all originated from new accounts set up in New Hampshire, the company says, leading it to believe the account holders were acting on advance knowledge of the game. This latest incident is the fourth time BetWWTS has suspended betting on the outcome of unscripted TV series. The company also stopped taking wagers on an edition of "The Bachelor" in 2002 and two cycles of "Survivor" in 2003 after detecting a pattern of bets on eventual finalists or winners. The company says it's now evaluating whether to continue offering odds on reality-show outcomes. |

Have ya'll seen the Pamela photo in the Girls of the Apprentice issue of FHM/Maxim/Stuff? (I can never which mag, they all blend together). Her bod's pretty svelte.

I don't understand why Kelly didn't pick Pamela. Out of all the available choices, she clearly was the most competent while also being the most likely to give her best effort. I do think Kelly made mistakes in picking whom he did.
I also question why everybody is so high on Kevin. He never impressed me, as he did nothing all season. Further, I know it's a tv show, but why does everybody seemingly discount the interview process? They all liked Jen above Kevin and Sandy. Shouldn't that count for something? |

Personally, I have to agree with someone's comment on another board that this is one of the few reality shows that the losers are better off than the winner. Troy from last season is making tons of money while Bill, the winner, has to endure Trump's constant ridicule on the show and he looks pretty stressed out. I actually think both Kelly and Jenn are too good to work for Trump, so whoever loses may have a better career in the long run. |
What a fucking joke that lazy eyes is in the Finale. Good thing Elizabeth's there to balance it out.
And is it just me or are the team members this year less amiable to the CEOs than last year? I mean, you had the Kwame/Troy tandem from last season but this year there's nothing even close to that. Last year you knew right off the bat who Bill and Kwame were going to pick as their crew. This year I had no idea. |

I don't think Jen should be there.......I'm not really cheering for anyone at this stage.

That picture (especially Pamela) is so airbrushed it looks like one of those T-shirts of celebrities you can get at the mall.
