In the back of my mind I wondered whether she threw it on purpose to lessen the perception of how strong she was. However, given that the reward was a car and the chances (that she very well knew) of her being voted off, I dismissed this notion. |

While I was happy to see the man-hating arrogant Ami leave, she had pretty much been the Boston Rob of this game, the one who controlled everyone else's vote.
How funny would it be if Chris won? I thought for sure his ass was gone in the very first episode! As long as it isn't Scout who makes the final two. Has she done one single useful thing the entire game? I continue to laugh at the people who go on Survivor after all these years and are shocked, dare I say, *shocked*, that the other contestants lie to their faces. How freakin' naive are you? That's the point of the game! That's why Johnny Fairplay was one of the most fun contestants ever. |
I was a little annoyed that LeeAnn looked irritated when Eliza was talking about having to write her name down at the last trible council. And how good of friends she has made on the island. I just kept thinking that LeeAnn wrote HER name down. So why is she irritated with Eliza for turning? SHE was turning on Eliza. So whats the difference?

If I was Chris I would make an alliance with Eliza. Boot Julie off next (she is a threat in the challenges - look at the past 2 weeks) and then boot Twila off next and go to the final 3 with Scout and Eliza.
|
I'm getting sick of everyone bringing up Twila swearing "on her son's name." STFU everybody. I'm sure her son is cool with it if it helps her bring home a million bucks. Plus, it's not like he is going to drop dead all of a sudden because she lied.

Chris is playing the game in a very subtle way now. He hasn't said much, but he did tell Eliza to stay with Twila and Scout eventhough she would be guaranteed a final 3 with Ami and Julie. He said the smartest thing possible "Our competition is an old lady...and Twila". I truly believe that Chris is the main reason Eliza stood with the new alliance.
I don't understand how anyone can question Chris. The man totally blew it at the first immunity challenge....and didn't get voted off. He is the one that ratted out Scout and Twila and turned the women against each other. He has been playing the game and now he's just keeping quiet and letting the women do what they do best...hate each other. |

I believe she stayed with the new alliance because to go with Ami and Julie would have meant risking her own neck (in a random game of chance). |
If it's a Scout/Twila final 2 I'm not sure I'll even watch. I've seen every episode of every Survivor season, but I can't find anything likeable or interesting about those 2.
All the people left are basically the people that were kept around so that they could be voted off later by the earlier alliances. Chris has played well, but he should have been gone in week 1 so he has an asterisk in my book. I almost forget Julie is there she's done so little. I don't get the the drooling over her. Eliza was kept around because she would be useful later, but that came around to bite them. She has been doing surprisingly well in challenges lately. Scout can't compete (and doesn't try to) in any challenges. I just find her and Twila unlikeable. Twila would have been gone early if Ami hadn't extended an olive branch to her in an early tribal council. Twila was harping in that council about no one relating to her and Ami gently suggested that maybe she wasn't giving something of herself, implying in a nice way that it was a 2 way street. If given DVDs of each season, I think this one and Thailand are ones that I would not bother to watch again even if they were free. |
the only person I'm rooting for is Julie.....only because she's hot....the rest I couldn't give a rats ass about.

Originally posted by Jim I completely disagree. They voted off a stronger player for one who was clearly weaker than anyone there. It wasn't even based on some personality that could not mesh with the tribe, it was just a play by the weak to get rid of the strong. Maybe that's one reason I'm losing interest in Survivor - more than any other season since maybe #4 a person's ability to provide was not taken into account. You could make an argument that the guys who rescued Chris in week 1 hurt themselves because none of them are around anymore. If they had kept the stronger players they may have done better in the challenges and not gone into the merge with a disadvantage to the women. So I'd say they didn't do a good job of survival. |

I was so damn happy to see Ami go. Im glad Eliza isnt as stupid as she was being portrayed. I was already saying if she changes her allieance, id hunt her down and show her what 5 fingers say to the face!
Now the show is goooooood And Ami hot? Belch! Im glad Ive got some taste. Julie hot :) |

I'm totally in agreement about the whole "Ami and Julie are my friends" crap. THEY WERE GONNA VOTE YOU OUT ELIZA! This game is about backstabbing, lying and being dirty. Richard Hatch created Survivor and the following seasons learned from his teachings. |

Why the hell did the people vote Chad Off?
