BTW...I work sometimes in the building right behind Ivana, Kevin and Kelly when they were selling candy outside the train station...plus if you remember my Skank girl protest pics from the RNC...they were across the street.

obviousily you don't live in New York City... :D

from what I have seen and read, people in Manhattan throw money around like confetti.

Gil Jawetz 12-03-04 01:11 PM

It's true. I use $20 bills to pick up dog crap.

I use hundies to light my farts on fire.

Gil Jawetz 12-03-04 02:34 PM

Oh, and I'm fully aware that I'm a suggestible loser for buying an MAzing bar for the first time today... And for only 75 cents!

I wouldn't say that we throw around money like confetti. It's more like everything costs an insanely high amount in NYC.

Hek, I wouldn't be surprised if those stupid candy bars retailed for $5 in NYC :p

corycouger 12-03-04 03:14 PM

I don't care if they are hot. I would never buy a candy bar for $5.

It was funny when Sandy said Jenn was all business and a robot with no emotion when they were working in the factory.

SuperJim88 12-03-04 03:29 PM

This gotta be the ultimate irony, the ho that stripped down and felt embrassed afterward kept telling George, Trump and Carolyn "Look, .................. Look,"

Well, when you put it that way then I guess it makes sense.

It was a bullshit competition.

I really hate these "selling crap" on the streets things they do, because it gives the women an automatic advantage.

Guys can walk up to people on the street -- they're on their way to work, on smoke breaks, otherwise engaged -- and try to sell them $2 candy bars. No takers.

Women can walk up to men on the street, flirt, shake their tits around, the dumbfucks will give them $5 for a candy bar.

And then the women are berated for using sex to sell when the bottom line of all of the competitions is about pulling the largest profit?

Even so, it was really stupid to have something like this for the final five. What's the final comp. going to be, a bake sale?

Patman 12-03-04 09:06 PM

Nah, probably a carwash...

BizRodian 12-03-04 09:13 PM

Yeah, talk about unfair advantage to the two women.

Y2K Falcon 12-03-04 09:23 PM

Why didn't they just go to Scores and charge $50 for a candy bar with "free lap dance", in exchange for wearing logo'd Scores t-shirts while hanging out at the apartment? :hscratch:

al_bundy 12-03-04 11:51 PM

I think it would have been hilarious if ivana's team had won this along with stripping to win it. Then the trump's boardroom woman wouldn't have known what to do

this theory doesn't work with selling ice cream or sorbet or whatever they were selling that episode.

EW has given Kelly the best odds to win (2-1).

Kelly (2-1)
Kevin (5-1)
Jen (7-1)
Sandy (15-1)

I disagree with the last two. I think Sandy and Jen should be switched.

Patman 12-04-04 09:55 PM

I think it should go:

Kelly - better at organizational task, but not willing to compromise when necessary.
Jen - not emotional, dry, willing to take credit for other's work (classic manager trait!)
Kevin - not a leader, good support guy
Sandy - too emotional, snippy, yappy

BT 12-08-04 04:41 PM

I think Sandy has a legitimate chance to go all the way though. It'll come down to her and Kevin next week.

I'd be absolutely shocked if Sandy won.

I have them ranked:
1. Kelly
2. Kevin
3. Jen
4. Sandy
