Martin Sheen...old habits die hard (Wall Street v. West Wing)

I'm sure you have all witnessed the many times President Bartlett puts on his jackets. Doing the violent flip over the back. Last week (11/10) even comically hitting C.J. in the head.

Well, have you seen "Wall Street" lately? As Bud's dad, he does the very same thing when he is leaving in a hurumph the informal dinner meeting at Bud's apartment with the airplane people, Bud, and Gordon. Isn't that weird?

I guess it is Martin's style. Anyone else notice this??

I certainly noticed the jacket flip hitting CJ in last week's West Wing episode, I don't really remember him using that same move in Wall Street. Pretty funny, though.

Acting!

It's because of an illness he had as a child. (Scoliosis I think) It's mentioned in the director commentary on the season two dvd for the "Two Cathedrals" episode (one of my favorites!)

interesting! but i don't see how the way he puts it on could make it easier if he had scoliosis.
