NYPD Blue "the Vision Thing" -- 11.10.2004
"The Vision Thing" A robber stabs a man riding the bus with his family, an antiques dealer reports a suspicious theft, and Medavoy takes a part-time job as security at a bar. Adult Situations. Cast: Dennis Franz, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Gordon Clapp, Bill Brochtrup, Henry Simmons, Jacqueline Obradors, Currie Graham, Bonnie Somerville, Dennis Christopher, Lee Garlington, Hector Atreyu Ruiz, Bobby Kaman, Yvonne Delarosa, Brendan Kelly, William Stanford Davis, James Bulliard, Kitty Swink, Fatso Fasano, Paul Lima, Kasey Wilson. Oh, while I don't have anything against Medavoy...that whole "confrontation" in the bar was weak. I kept waiting for the punk to smash the glass and stab Greg with it. Hopefully, if the show does end, it'll go out on a high note with some more naked Jacqueline. |

The scene with Bobby at the end was well done, the rest of the episode, not so much.
Medavoy would be the least intimidating bouncer ever. Originally posted by Rogue588 .Hopefully, if the show does end, it'll go out on a high note with some more naked Jacqueline. |
Has ms. obradors done a nude scene on here before? I missed all of last season.
The scene with Bobby was incredible. It is amazing, the chemistry between Smits and Franz. |
Damn, that scene at the end was awesome - too bad it couldn't have been more of a surprise (as Rogue said).

It was funny - by the time Andy saw Bobby, I had totally forgotten that Jimmy Smits was supposed to be on this episode. It was very well done, even though I don't believe in that kind of stuff.
Jacqueline looked great even with the clothes on yesterday. Of course, she always does. Loved when the gay guy called them Cagney and Lacey. Of course, Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless can't hold a candle to Jacqueline and Bonnie. Good to see John get an actual storyline. Everybody disrespecting Medavoy. |

I thought Medavoy was either going to get blown away, or overcompensate for his small stature and beat the guy into a coma. Maybe we're leading up to that.

I was also impressed with the scenes involving Bobby's "return".
I expected it to be simply a lame gimmick, but it turned out fairly well done. I also wished ABC had not promoted the hell out of it. By the time we were 40-45 mins. into the show, my wife kept saying..."but I thought Bobby was supposed to make an 'appearance' where is he?" Was the antique dealer the bicycle riding kid from the movie Breaking Away"? It didn't look like the bartender was too thrilled with Medavoy's setting up Baldwin with a "G&T" and "can we get a menu over here" and Medavoy acting like he owned the place. I also thought the scene with the tough guy starting a problem in the bar was weak and predictable to start, then just weak how Medavoy supposedly resolved it. New boss didn't have too much to do this week and seems to be mellowing. And he still reminds me of Kevin Spacey. |
can someone explain jimmys exit of the show and last nights episode?...... sorry but i dont have american channels here
|
I really miss Smits on this show. That scene was awesome.

Great use of Bobby. I was reminded of the tenderness between Andy and Bobby. That has been missing between Andy and his partners for some time.
Teacher - brought a smile to my face. Was really glad to see Andy extend his friendship to John to start trying to be the teacher/father. Seems fatherhood may be the theme for at least one more week. The boss seems to be getting more acclimated. Good to see. |

Am I the only one hoping that all this stuff with Simone ISN'T going on while Sipowitz is lying on a slab someplace? I mean, getting shot at twice in three weeks.
Or am I just falling for Bochco's red herring......? BTW: add me to the list. Loved the whole locker room scene. Favorite line was Bobby's: "It don't work like that." |
Can anyone give me the jist of the Bobby scene? I missed it..THANKS

Of all the dead people in (or rather, out of) Andy's life, he forgot his last partner -- Danny.
