South Park 11/3

Spoiler:
Something Wall-Mart This Way Comes

Spoiler:
The streets of South Park are like a ghost-town when a giant Wall-Mart lures all the townspeople to the new store with its incredible bargains. Cartman becomes a boy possessed by the power of Wall-Mart and its low, low prices. In order to save their town, Stan and Kyle have to find a way to destroy the ever-expanding superstore while keeping Cartman from stabbing them in the back.

not really spoilers just what's on south park's main page, but just in case.

This sounds like a great episode.

Because he's a Jew, right? And Jews are cheap? I get it now.

This one sounds pretty funny. It's about time the boys tackled Wal Mart

um.. it;s Wall-Mart..it's a different store.. I don't see the similarity to Wal-Mart.. :)

Yeah...this is the place where Paris Hilton shops for walls.

Urgh, a disappointing show following-up the hilarious season premiere.

Not a single laugh-out-loud moment in this for me. A good satire, but just nothing very funny.

ClarkKentKY 11-03-04 09:40 PM

I thought it was brilliant. Feels like a filler episode left out of last season though.

BabiG 11-03-04 09:43 PM

I thought Cartman's 'betrayal' was hilarious. Also the Matrix Revolutions parody.

Link_182 11-03-04 09:45 PM

We just got a new Wal-Mart in our town this week, so this episode was unbelieveable appropriate. And some of it is sadly true. Great episode. Not the most halarious, but great satire and subject matter.

MasterCXtreme 11-03-04 10:11 PM

I thought it was an hilarious episode with a few laguh-out-loud moments. It got better as it went along I think. The begining was so-so, but by the end my stomach hurt.

A 3 pack of Timecop for $19.98? Does anyone else think we just got served?

shaun3000 11-03-04 11:32 PM

I thought it was rotfl

The whole crapping when you die thing was hilarious. The friggin Wall*Mart even crapped when it died!

MrX 11-04-04 12:09 AM

I thought it had it's moments. I didn't care for the first part, except for the timecop on dvd lines.

I thought the second half was much better.

Gizmo 11-04-04 12:22 AM

So far, great episode. I think everyone is gonna be quoting the Time Cop joke for a while.

Chaza 11-04-04 12:49 AM

I liked this a lot, as someone who avoids Wal-Mart like the plague. I appreciate bargains, but from what I've read about the company I can't support them.

MrR0boto 11-04-04 01:24 AM

This season is not going so well as far as I'm concerned. Too much satire and not enough funny.

I did laugh when the wall-mart shit as it died, but they sure have had a ton of explosive shitting since the Mel Gibson episode.

IMRICKJAMES 11-04-04 01:51 AM

this episode rocked! two great episodes in a row

asabase 11-04-04 06:26 AM

I *really* wish they rebuilt the wall-mart into a Super Wall-mart instead.

Snowmaker 11-04-04 07:15 AM

I don't even remember how it ended. I sort of dozed off. :(

j123vt_99 11-04-04 07:31 AM

wasn;'t it a super wall-mart to begin with... that's kind of what the guy in the bar implied

Cartman frugality on the DVD purchase was great.

Frankly, though, I've been disappointed with the first 2 episodes this season. Not many laughs.
