I got a preview copy of it... and it is not good. It goes for the lowest common denominator of humor, which is completely fine in my book... but it's just not funny. The only thing I really liked about it was since it's character from all sorts of cartoons, there are all sorts of animation styles in one package, which is cool, but wears thin after a while

Bump for the premiere tonight, although if you've seen Comedy Central in the last two weeks there's no way you have forgotten about it. :p
Hopefully, it is more Family Guy than Father of the Pride, though I fear the latter may be true. |

This is getting terrible reviews. IMHO, the show would be a lot better if it had actual cartoon characters, instead of approximations. I realize this isn't possible, but still...
|
Yeah, it looks terrible, but I'll give it a fair chance like everything else.

...and then no one commented AFTER the show airs...
I'll give it a week or two -- it was Meh with potential.... |
Good idea, horribly executed.
|
thought the same thing... had to turn it off halfway through

It was ok... but the pig is too over the top!
Pissing every 2 minutes, the joke is not funny after he does it for the 50th time. Who is this supposed to be? |
Unfortunately, this piece of crap will stick around for a while because it follows the new season of South Park. Usually I give shows a chance, but this was so terribly done that I feel no need to watch it ever again. I feel like I got the best of what they had to offer...and it wasn't good.
Off-topic, Comedy Central has time for this dreck, but no Dr. Katz? |
felt like a amatuerish Ralph Bakshi homage.
The funniest part was the two dualing "smurfs" |
I enjoyed this show a lot, guess I was the only one

I watched the first 8 minutes or so. I was excited to see this, but as soon as I was watching it I lost interest. I even laughed a few times, but I just didn't feel like watching all of it. I wish they'd bring back TV Funhouse, but I know THAT won't happen. :(
|
the pig ruined it for me. the previews for the first season look interesting but i probably won't watch
|
This was terrible. Not even good enough to give it a second chance.
|
Well I thought they tried way too hard with this episode. But it had its good spots. I loved Ling Ling, and when cracked up when he was trying to get the princess to say his name 3 times.
I loved the pig deaficating into a cantalope for some reason. And I thought the ending with the season preview was great. They need to switch the focus from Foxy and the Princess, to Ling Ling, and the Pig. I'll give it another chance, it has potential. |
I thought it was alright. I'll probably continue watching it after South Park.
|
Originally posted by Finch03 I enjoyed this show a lot, guess I was the only one One downside was that the best stuff was in the ads that saturated Comedy Central the past few weeks. "Help, she's attacking me like the English language!" |
not that bad, but not good either. the "this year on Drawn Together" was pretty funny... and if that is really going to happen, it could get better.
|
Yea I couldn't figure out if those were actual previews for upcoming episodes or a fake "next time on" like tons of shows do these days.
I thought the show was a good idea, but wasn't executed all that well.... but has potential if it can find its groove, focus on what works and cut the fat. |
Eh. I was unimpressed. It's hard to do good parody and this show proves it. Most of it was completely unfunny. I liked the racist princess character and the lines they wrote for her, but that was about it.
|
Some ok gags but otherwise crap. Family Guy fans'll like it.
