I think the Donald targets people he doesn't like, and then uses the tasks to justify his decision. It's so arbitrary and despotic, thus the luster of this show is waning for me. But, I was glad to see Stacy the hobbit lawyer from hell get fired and sent home packing.

The girl who was fired was on some talk show this morning. It was mentioned that a girl had made some remark about two Jewish ladies in a restaurant earlier in the show (not this week), and that girl was not only fired from The Apprentice, but she lost her real job also.

What did she say?

The two old ladies judged the women's team in the resturant contest was pretty harsh. And she baically said that they're probably Jewish. It wasn't really that big of deal to begin with, but got blown out of proportion quickly after that.

No one ever takes responsibility on this show for the teams loss...Also, what in the hell is feistiness counts? That has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

movieking 10-22-04 07:29 PM

She is repulsive. I just can't stand her. Thank God she is gone.

QuikSilver 10-22-04 07:34 PM

Glad to see Stacey go.

I guess I don't see it. I believe every single person who has been fired so far has deserved it (at least to some extent).

Another thing (found in the TV Guide interview) is that its not all about the tasks -- personality, etc. play a big part. They are, essentially, interviewing for a job.

Plus, we only see about 5 mins of a 3 hour board room meeting.

What do you think was arbitrary about previous firings? Because assuming my memory is still good, I think I could give you valid reasons for each of their firings.

MrJeff 10-23-04 12:08 AM

I like how your from "The L.A."

I thought all the firings were justified for the most part. Sometimes i disagreed with them but thats just because i think someone else should of been fired instead.

Trump makes his decision by listening to his two pals (which have alot of influence), and then listening to the three potential people who might get fired.

This obviously is going to lead to some people getting fired who shouldn't, as two people might gain up on one when they see trump leaning towards one, to save themselves...and i feel like they have mislead trump at times for the sake of keeping the attention away from themselves.

Yep little Stacy should of been fired ages ago. At this point I don't care who wins, none of them seem to be up to par.

ChefWinduAZ 10-23-04 03:14 AM

Is it just me or did Stacy remind anyone else of The Gap Troll from Mad TV???

Okay, maybe it is just me.

Static Cling 10-23-04 08:58 AM

If I were in a position to hire her for a speaking engagement, I'd be worried about how the audience would be able to see her over the podium. So would I get a stool or a smaller podium? Too much hassle. :(

Where the hell was the extended boardroom? :hscratch:

I think Kelly is an impressive player. I think he's going to win. Kevin is pretty good too and he may make it the the final 2.

That's what I was wondering. I usually Tivo this pn Saturdays and only re-watch the boardroom scenes, but tonight's board room started 35 minutes into the episode and wasn't extended at all. Usually they remove most of the task, and the reward, but this episode was identical to what aired on Thursday.

I wonder if tonight was a one-time fluke or are they abandoning it altogether?

Instead of finding out whether they will air extended boardroom scenes by watching or tivo their saturaday airing, all you had to do is just go to tv listing and see if it's new or repeat. New = extra boardroom scenes, repeat = repeat exactly the same from Thursday. Which is the case this week.

candyrocket786 10-23-04 10:12 PM

Why the hell would they show a rerun? There's been an extended boardroom every Sat since S2 started.

I really wanted to see extra footage of that annoying hobbit bitch!!!

Damn!
Damn!
Damn!
Damn!
Damn!

movieking 10-24-04 06:45 AM

I have been skipping Sat night reruns because I thought that it was just reruns without the extra scenes, since it was only extended the first week :(

Oh well
