Looks like this could be better than the last couple of episodes.
|
I'm not a comic guy, so I'm less interested in this week than others.
I will say, for the 834th straight week, NO MORE CAVES! |
|
I will say the last 2 episodes were very disappointing. I'm looking forward to this one.

Heads up for those in Detroit-- this is airing after the Pistons game. Tivo has it listed at 10 pm, so make sure you pad your recording accordingly.

I wonder if we'll see the Flash in the shower? ;)
|
Sorry, game 7 tonight. Will discuss later in the week.

Fucking Awesome!!!!
This will probably be the highlight of the Season for me. |
Much, much better than last week's show. A lot of great stuff, and I think they nailed the personality of Flash.
However, next week's show looks kick ass. I love this show when Clark is being a badass. Though according to the preview, it's not really Clark. |

that club line was awesome
good to see a FOTW that is going to end up being a good guy thanks in part to clark's involvement. hope he makes a come back at some point next week looks like another Spoiler:
|
I thought it was okay, the dialogue was just too stiff, maybe I was expecting better.
But it did finish up better than it started. I kept thinking that Bart reminded me of Bud Bundy. So we are back to Clark and Lex lying to each again. They can't help it, that's just going to be the dynamic in their relationship for the long run. Lana and her caveman, what will come their way... Martha finds her way back to Jonathan, kudos to Lana for talking some sense into her. Next episode looks like fun, in a devilish way. |
Anything is far better than another tired freak of the week episode.
|
Apparently there used to be plans for a Flash show, but then I guess they scaled it down to a cameo. Still speculation of a show, though:

This was a nice way to introduce another DC comic hero, having him younger than Clark, but with a rebellious streak and treating his powers like some great toy. But it also repeats a semi-recurring theme where Clark finds someone who is sort of like him and that he tries to hang out with the person as much as he can.
It's great to see Lex being very suspicious and distrusting of Clark instead of the other away around. Lex apparently saw right through Clark's lies. I wonder if that page that Clark was examining is a map that will lead him north or something....maybe there's something there. |
Next week's episode looks to be a winner. As for this one, Clark lied horribly and Lex didn't buy it for a second, I thought for a hot second he was going to accuse Clark to his face of stealing. When that friendship really ends it won't be pretty.
