I Hate Emerald Nuts Commercials
 

No particular reason for this thread, other then to whine about Emerald Nuts commercials. Whose bright idea was it to throw in any random words that begin with "E" and "N" in relation to Emerald Nuts. Egyptian Navigators? Ugh. :)

Yup they suck imo.

The thing that really bothers me is that they used "navigators" twice.

This is another one of those "This makes me NOT want to buy the product" situations. On the other hand, I had never heard of Emerald Nuts before this. But still, unless Planters does something worse...

The PB ones were better from a decade ago. Some kind of candy bar, I can't remember, but they did the same thing. Every commercial they had the P & B standing for something different. Some were clever. The EN thing is horrid.

I think they are funny personally. I like the Ecouraging Norweigans, Entangled Nine Year-Olds and Exagerating Normans.

Hey at least one of the Emerald Nuts ad had cheerleaders in the ad as Eavesdropping Nebraskans... more cheerleaders on tv is not a bad thing damn it!! :)

as for planters, if they thought naming a product "Nut Poppers" was a good idea a while ago, I'm sure they can come up with something just as bad as the Emerald Nuts commercials sooner or later..

Exasperated Nitpickers hate Emerald Nuts. Worst marketing ever...or as mentioned maybe the best, never heard of the darn things before.

I had heard of Emerald Nuts before but never had them. Now after this campaign I'll never buy them. Their commercials give me Endless Nausea.

I love the campaign because I have yet to see a repeat of the commericals. makes me want to see commercials.

I prefer those ads to the Planters Peanuut man dancing to disco music. Those ads nearly fry the gaydar.

I prefer the budweiser commercials with Leon and his good side.....
