VH1 Brings More Flavor, Fourth 'Surreal Life'

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) VH1 will help Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielsen keep their weird flame of romance burning and find a boy-toy for model Jerry Hall next year, all in the service of good television.
Those two shows, along with another edition of "The Surreal Life," are among 10 series and specials the cable network is rolling out in the next few months. Other shows include "My Coolest Years," in which celebrities recall their high school days, and "Remaking," a sort of "Extreme Makeover" for one-time rock stars looking to regain the spotlight.
The oddball relationship between Public Enemy rapper Flav and "Red Sonja" star Nielsen on "The Surreal Life" this season will receive further scrutiny in "Strange Love," a 10-episode series set for January. During the course of the show, Flav will travel to Europe to meet Nielsen's family and friends, and he'll take her home to the Bronx to meet his kids and go to church with his mother.
"Strange Love" comes from Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego, creators of "The Surreal Life." The fourth edition of that show, with a new crop of B-listers -- yet to be announced -- will also debut in January.
Hall, meanwhile, will let VH1 help her find a new, young boyfriend in a spring 2005 series called "Kept." Fifteen guys will attempt to impress the former Mrs. Mick Jagger in hopes of winning a six-figure "allowance" and becoming Hall's companion for a year. Her friends and family will help her decide which guy to keep.

She was at the Public Enemy show last night and they were taping part of the new show. I was up front and center so maybe I'll make the show. They seem very much in love. (or something)

The latest season of the Surreal Life reality show is drawing attention, due to the on-camera relationship between Brigitte Nielsen and Public Enemy's Flavor Flav.
Now, the two will star in a brand new reality show for VH1, in which they travel across the United States and arrive in Las Vegas, where Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielsen’s real life fiancée Mattia Disse will try to win Brigitte Nielsen's heart.
"They're both gonna ask me to marry them, that's what I think", Brigitte Nielsen told the New York Post. "We're starting the next show on October 4, Flavor Flav and myself. We're just going to be hanging out. He's going to pick me up in Italy. We're going to his mom's. Then we're off to Los Angeles for two days and then we go to Las Vegas."
Brigitte Nielsen, who got engaged to Mattia Disse shortly after taping the Surreal Life, is in the middle of a divorce and was previously married to Sylvester Stallone.
She is known for her role in Red Sonja as well as her memorable performance as a tough Russian woman in Rocky IV.
