It's funny, after reading the preview, you'd think The WB would run something in their promos other than Spoiler:

Are you kidding me? I think the preview looks terrific!
Btw, how do you get other emoticons besides a :) to come up? Most other boards I go on have options to click on the left next to this window. |

yeah, but atleast Lois was always supposed to be annoying...

Originally posted by calhoun07 Eye candy wise, she's not too bad. Character wise, she's more annoying in one than Chloe and Lana ever were apart. |

I like the eye candy the cast for Lanas' boyfriend. Someone has good taste in the casting department. Lois is hot too.

Excellent show tonight.
Next week, "Kryp/Tuck" (oh dear Lord), looks like a freak-of-the-week episode though. |
I thought this was another solid episode w/the exception of
Spoiler:
Lois has pretty much made me forget about Lana. Next Week's Episode: Kryp/Tuck=What the Fuck???? :hscratch: |

Kryp/Tuck rotfl
|
They have really "hotted" Lana up this season. Hope she doesn't go back to the farm girl looks.
|
Character wise, she's more annoying in one than Chloe and Lana ever were apart. Having said that, Chloe and Lana are just ugh! Thank God we have a new female lead with some spunk and personality. I say send Lana back to France now that Lois is here. Solid show tonight except for the freak of the weak stuff. The good news was the freak wasn't the center of attention on the show. Just a simple plot device. Lana is even hotter than before, but she has been supplanted by and even hotter Erica Durance. |
"The safehouse was built on abandoned tunnels used in the underground railroad." - Lex
IN KANSAS??? Cement, Lighted Tunnels were used in the underground railroad?? Why couldn't you just say it had tunnels. Period. I wouldn't have questioned that... but the underground railroad thing  Less is more when it comes to details on this show. This one just struck me as odd. I also found the Trent-1000 to be kind of stale. |
The Lex/Lionel subplot was pretty good. When Lionel warned him about not wounding what you can't kill, at first I thought he was referring to Chloe (i.e., she might come back to haunt Lex as well), but then realized he was probably talking about himself.
This episode really didn't the FOTW element. If anything, it just shows Lionel probably has a bunch of these people under his sleeve for such a purpose. But why-oh-why did his confrontation have to end so predictably? Secondly, like the Clark/Lana relationship from previous seasons, the whole friendship thing between Clark & Lex is a recurring theme. One moment, Clark relishes being friends with Lex, but another moment, Clark is quite wary of him for obvious reasons. At least Lois is around to make things not-so-easy for Clark. |
"Clark Jr." Bwahahahahaha!
The whole T2 baddie and disposal was just lazy. Lana's return and introduction to Lois was a furious one, and I liked how Lois knew immediately that something was between Clark and Lana. I did like Clark getting all flustered by how much Lois gets under his collar. It only took 2 episodes to get Chloe back. At least they didn't stretch out the Hunt for Chloe storyline. Can't anyone shiv people to death in prison. Weak. Just when you think Lex is obsessed about his Porsche hitting Clark through the bridge railings, his airplane simulation is going to get a lot of replay time as well. Lois can kick some butt when called upon. I think next week's title is hilarious: "Kryp/Tuck" |
The thing about Kryp/Tuck is that i know it's going to be a disposable episode, just like VELOCITY (2 Small 2 Ville) was laughable and didn't build on the main plot at all.
|
Freak of the Week
The Return of Chloe  Next week  However - the arrival of Lois can overcome all of this, imo - I hope they keep Lana and her boy-toy in the background for a while and let this be the Clark/Lois show. Those two are great together. |

Michael Ironsides made up for some of the lameness, but not much

I like this episode. Wish they had developed the morphing guy a bit more though before killing him off. But I'm glad Lois is the one who got him with her gun. So it looks like she can take care of herself even without any superpower and so Clark doesn't have to save her every week when she gets into trouble.
