but only 13 episodes? i thought i read that they were getting a full season of 20 something episodes and that they have over 50 episodes in development.

no those are the 13 episodes that they have recorded the voices for so far. fox ordered 35 episodes which they probley will split into 2 seasons.

My thoughts exactly. I kept hearing "after the Superbowl." Now, technically, this is after the Superbowl, but that's three days away from my birthday. Weird.

Even if Fox decides never to air these, they are certain to make it to DVD.

they never said after superbowl everyone thinks that it actulley got pushed up it was originally june now its may. seth macfarlanes other show american dad premeires after the super bowl. it takes 9 months to make all the episodes may will be the soonest we see them.

Now we just need to get Futurama and Firefly back! :D

Yeah, FG was never mentioned for post SuperBowl by anyone associated with the show, just American Dad. However, a number of fans/critics/TV-writers have mentioned that a post SB FG return would be more effective and create a much bigger splash, and just makes better TV-business sense......

Well not quite, when the idea of re-starting the show first came up, everyone, including the creators; said early 2005. May is more: mid-2005. I remember hearing 1st quarter from them... but then again I hear a lot of things.

My bad. When I read post SB, I took it as IMMEDIATELY post SB, as in using the SB as a lead-in and beginning a new show right after Brady accepts his third SB MVP trophy. But as it stand now, American Dad gets that sweet spot for 2005.

But yeah, that's what I remember too. The original talk was for FG to return in very early 2005 (some wishful rumors of very late 2004, but nothing substantiated). Next thing you know, they're adding six months and talking about summer 2005; first it was June/July 2005, then that got moved up to May 2005. I'm assuming one could find the true chronology over on Planet FG......

Wow, I can't wait to see what those three stewie episodes are about. IMHO Stewie's the best character in that show.

I'm willing to wait if it means the episodes won't be rushed. Unless the episodes are 'in the can.'

yea the 3 part episode stewie finds out who his real father is then it will be released on dvd. also the family guy cd live in las vegas comes out in novemeber and tehres a best of dvd with special features coming out soon.
