A New George Carlin Special, Ever?
 

I had the privlege to see Carlin last November in Chicago. He mentioned at the beginning of his show that he was going to have a new HBO special in April of 2004, but April came and went. Will there ever be a new one. I'm thinking December might be the time. Because he is slated to have three or four shows in New York. Any News?

He has a new book coming out in November so I think your December (broadcast) estimate might be correct.

I saw him live tonight and he said that the show was slated for next fall, a year from now.

Sadly, the show itself was only marginal. It just didn't have that Carlin edge that I've come to expect.
