Nope, officially it's not coming back at all in the fall. I work for a TV station that runs it (not Sinclair owned), and we just got the word.

I could never understand how this guy, just because he was real flashy and obnoxious on American Idol, could get his own show.
14 minutes and counting.

From the title of this thread, I also thought he came out of the closet. Well I've seen this show a few times and it was awful. Glad to hear that it got axed. Definately his 15 minutes is up but doesn't he host 2 or 3 radio shows?

Listen folks - he OBVIOUSLY is popular to some degree to:
a) move from radio to American Idol
b) to survive on AI as the solo personality after they started with two hosts
c) have his own TV show while remaining as the host for AI
The only reason his show failed (not that I thought it was great shakes when I saw an episode) was due to Seacrest's overexposure. The show's poor ratings (as well as the reason I ended up making a POINT of not tuning in) were mostly due to the overhype factor in the advertising. When the show 1st aired it was like MY GOD STOP BLITZING THE UNIVERSE WITH THE AD CAMPAIGN ALREADY!!!!!
Short answer - cancellation of the show is not the last of Ryan Seacrest by a long shot!
