No, that was "The Touch" from the original Transformers Movie (1986)

And, yes this is the best McFarlane comedy out there right now. I now refuse to watch teh crap that is Family Guy these days.

Looks like it is both. I had to look it up. I wasn't aware that it was form the Transformers, but it is the song from Boogie Nights as well. Mark Wahlberg's mangling has left it burned into my brain forever.
