Crossballs - Anyone watching this carp?
6 mins in and haven't laughed once...
You lasted more than I did- I gave it 5 minutes- It's more crap from Comedy Central- (I do like Graham Norton though :)
I read an article by a guy who was asked to go on the show to talk about spam, but he couldn't find anything out about the show and finally figured out by calling different people that it was a show called Crossballs and he declined the invite. Because of that story, I want to watch a show or two just to see what exactly they do, but I doubt I'll give it much chance.
This is awful. But, if by some chance, it starts to get better after a couple episodes, please post about it here, and I might give it another chance.
So is Tough Crowd done with now? I liked that show.
A new crappy show from Comedy Central? What are the odds??
I watched all of 5 minutes then turned it off. Decent concept, terrible execution. I doubt I'll tune in again.
I couldn't really figure out the premise of the show. Was one of the people suppose to be a real guest and didn't know it was fake? I lasted about 5 minutes in and then fast forwarded to the end to see the punchline but didn't stop in time and it started over. So I just deleted it.
I'm with the consensus. It sucked.
I liked it. The second half was much funnier than the first, especially the professor pitching the faux reality tv shows.
I stumbled upon this by accident yesterday evening when I got home from work -- I agree, it sucked.
it's a show like this that makes me wonder what all the producers and TV people are thinking... Did they watch the pilot of this and really think "we have a winner on our hands"?
oh, man. I guess the topic of the show has a lot to do with how funny the show is.
the latest show, about driving, had me cracking up. almost peed in my pants a couple of times. |
ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE? THIS IS THE FUNNIEST THING SHOW I'VE SEEN IN YEARS. The suv thing had me laughing my ass off when he called the kid gay. The old people thing was helerious also. Mostly because I had to debate old people driving in high school and it reminded me of the same things I debated about. Seriously this whole show reminds me of my current world events in high school. Mostly because the crazy stuff they are saying on this show is what I used to say in class. AWSOME SHOW. I want this on dvd.
The driving show was amazingly funny. I loved the redneck, bad driving instructor.
the seniors at the end were the best.
"let's hear from your wife." "no, I'll do the talking, she takes forever to get to the point." "sure, seniors do kill people when they drive. but put it in perspective, it's the only way we CAN kill people." |
This show is getting better and better. The drug show and vegetegian shows were great. Looks like it's gone after this week is over, though.

The pot show was pretty funny.
Especially when the fake pot advocate was talking about his driving experiments with neighborhood kids, pot and alcohol The other really funny part was when he asked the anti-drug lady to come up with a role model who had never used drugs, and she said: "President Bush." "Thanks for proving my point." |
I thought the lady's folk song about Noah's Ark to the little kids was hilarious, especially when the experts started calling her a sick woman.
Line of the night was "I wanna 286 all over your face."

I think this show is hilarious.
I watch it every chance I get because it really is hilarious. I'm not sure how people don't like it.
This is a hilarious concept. I laughed my ass off at the commercials.
But, after watching 20 minutes tonight, I realized this show sucks. In fact, it blows. Watching it is more painful than watching a Star Jones thong contest. |
 Funny show, I laughed.
