I just started watching this on DVD two nights ago (5 eps in) and I am sorry I never watched it when it aired. I resisted because the premise didn't interest me but I have to say I love it! The only other shows I watch regularly (Shield, Sopranos, Deadwood) are over for the year so at least I have something to look forward to weekly.

I wish Tivo would fix the directory or whoever supplies it because it has no synopses for Nip|Tuck and my tivo is treating it as a repeat. I'll just have to add a manual, I guess.

I think they are awful, too - I just try to listen to them.

25 minutes to go! I too, did not watch this show on a weekly basis. I bought the S1 DVD set and watched them all. I'm now an addict!
The episode (#10- Adelle Coffin) where
I've gone so far as to purchase a UPS battery backup for my DirecTV receiver and DVD/HD recorder, as to not miss an episode! Crazy huh?

Good beginning to the season. The preview for upcoming episodes has me stoked for this season. I'm glad to see they'll be re-visiting some unfinished plotlines.
Oh yeah, thank you XM radio!

Was that final song by Rufus Wainwright? Just wondering...
Where was the hot pshrink? I just watched the whole first season and I don't remember them canning her.
Anyhow - great ep. Liked how it concentrated on the three main characters and not McNamara's scary-looking son, Matt. The one storyline I did not like last year involved him.
This is going to be a great season and I cannot wait for Famke to join the cast for the rest of the season. I don't care how many times they show the previews - I must watch them everytime.

Great episode indeed. It's great to have this show back as it is, arguably, the best drama on television. I'm not sure who sang the final song, but it fit the moment perfectly.

I'm not sure I can watch this show right before I go to bed because some of the plastic surgeries get a little hard to watch, especially the facial reconstructive surgery from last night's episode.
Why is Christian still with Gina, even though the baby isn't his?

Great stuff. I knew that Christian's interview would be creative.
Hearing the word 'erection' come from Vanessa Redgrave.
The Plastic Surgery doesn't bother me. My father is a surgeon and he used to look at slides of surgeries on the projector at home when I grew up. Got pretty desensitized to it.
I love how they weave popular music (particularly from the 80s) into this show. They do so well - better than any other show I have ever seen save Miami Vice.
