Now thats a hell of a story.
GSN ran one last week. Not a movie, but it was called "Big Bucks: The Press Your Luck Scandal." They showed the entire Michael Larsen episode, slowed it down and showed how he learned the patterns of the PYL board, and interviewed family members, the other players, and so on. Pretty interesting.

She was probably hitting it early. I think the buzzer locks you out for a couple seconds if you try to buzz in too early.

I watched him last night too. I thought the woman was getting screwed too. It seemed as if everyone was waiting for Ken to buzz in. They all seemed to wait a second before answering. It just seemed weird.

Oh and btw. They mentioned the only record he doesn't own is the single day record of 52k.

This guy has made me watch Jeopardy again. I remember being amazed when I saw that he had one ten straight shows, let alone over twenty.

It's not on in the Twin Cities today or tomorrow. (As far as I can tell....) It's on the NBC affiliate and they're showing Wimbledon.

Yeah, he was pretty close with Ken for awhile there. In a rare display of patriotism, I
was thinking it would be cool if he beat Ken since it's Canada Day here.

He did struggle today but he was still out of reach by the time final jeopardy rolled around. I haven't been following much, but has he ever been within range by the time FJ rolled around?

Tonight would've been the night to take him out, an off day (for him)plus a sports related final question. They blew their chance.

Tonight was the 23rd.
Spoiler:
I watched for the first time tonight, the girl had a good chance, but blew it towards the end of double jeopardy.

When I saw that Ken had answered incorrectly, I gasped excitedly, hoping that he had bet enough to lose. Then I thought about how the pendelum has swung back. After a few weeks of rooting for him to win again and again, I've gotten sick of it and am now rooting for him to lose lose lose.

We all know that his reign did come to an end. Who wants to make a guess when he finally goes down. I'll take a stab and say that next Wednesday, Ken will lose.

They tape these in advance and he's stated that he does eventually lose.

I wanna see that episode! I wanna see the look on his face during his final final jeopardy when he knows that he lost before they reveal his answer.
