His control over the buzz-ins are out of control. Even the questions he answered incorrectly, he was ALWAYS first to buzz in.
Was it just me or did anyone else detect a tinge of annoyance in Trebek's tone towards Ken?
How are they gonna get rid of this guy? Bring in Stephen Hawkings for a very special "Quantum Physics edition of Jeopardy". He may have a little trouble with the buzzer though.

This is the first day i've seen him, but it seemed he was a little slow on the trigger today. He buzzed in on i'd say 90% of the questions, but got beat to the punch a few times.
If anybody can do a little research and figure out how many tapings they do in a day, that would be awesome. Plus, how long the break is between the shows.
You either know it or don't, but this dude seems to know all the answers, he just buzzes in then thinks about it while his brain breaks down the 1,000+ encyclopedias he's read in his lifetime in 2 sec. flat, so if he did 4 22 min. shows in a row, he may be just a bit off of his game.
Btw: for ppl who missed all the shows or don't have access to it, hit http://jeopardy.com and go to this week to see his contestant vid.

Kind of strange, it takes 16 shows of Jeopardy for Ken to make half a million. If he knows that much info, why didn't he just sign up for Who Wants to be A Millionare or Super Millionare. I'm sure he would kill on that show.

I take comfort in the fact that I'm not a total idiot for thinking the answer to final jeopardy was

David Letterman kind of proved this Ken guy has had the game rigged so that he could win so much and so many times in a row.
Dave showed a clip from his Tivo and this was the answer to the jeopardy question: "Unlike the honey bee, this large bee doesn't die when it stings, but can sting numerous times."
Ken gives the question, "Who is Lou Dobbs?'
Alex says, "Lou Dobbs, right!"
Totally busted the whole show there, I'm surprised no one is even investigating.

i had no idea some guy was on jep for about 2 weeks.

I liked how nobody but Jennings responded until about the 13th answer.
The vet was catching up a bit in Double J.
Jennings found the 2nd DD under the next to last answer. IF the vet had been lucky enough to get it or IF he had missed it, it would've been interesting. A lot of IFs. Especially since she knew Final J and he did not.
The redhead looked like she didn't even want to be there.

I catch Jepardy once or twice a week, so I was surprised to see that same guy still
hanging in there.
When they want him gone they'll call in the Harvard SWAT team or something.

Our returning champion, Ken.
A graduate of the Vulcan Science Academy and 35-year Starfleet veteran, Mr. Spock.
And being wheeled into the studio now, the Hal-9000 computer.
"That's not the correct answer, Ken."
"I'm going to have to disconnect your life support."

Maybe he just never had any luck actually getting on the show and gave up.

As for the waiting list for Jeopardy, it is often 4-6 months or more. I applied for a spot a few months back but never got a follow up.

You know, without even stooping to 'fixing' the game, the producers could easily stack the deck in this guy's favor to increase his streak and thus build up the "must-see" quality of the show. Intentionally pick weaker competitors, pick questions and topics they know he's knowledgable about, etc.

I don't watch Jeopardy as intently as I used to, but tuned in again to see how far Ken goes with the winnings. It really hasn't been too exciting watching this guy play when he builds a big lead very early on and coasts into Final Jeopardy without the possibility of the other players beating him. Still, I am sort of rooting for him to see if he can hit the $1 million mark, if nothing else.
