Something simliar to that happened a couple days ago. One of the other contestants wrote, "Whatever Ken says" as a final answer.

If you're getting creamed anyway, at least have some fun.

Ken started out weak tonight. The guy in 2nd position ran a whole category and doubled up on a DD before Ken came back. The woman in 3rd position was never in it and didn't even make Final Jeopardy. That sucks, all your life people are telling you how great you'd be on a game show. The one and only time you make it, and you're up against an unstoppable force.

Only time that I know of it on ABC at 7:30 PM Mon-Sat, but I live in the deep south of the USofA.

Not sure about Brit. Colum.

It's a syndicated show (in the US), so it's on different channels/times in different markets. You're going to have to look it up somewhere online to find out when/if it's on in Canada.

She should have competed on Wheel of Fortune instead.

Spoiler:

He could have easily had $50K tonight. He was missing all kinds of questions that even I knew during Double Jeopardy and missed a Daily Double for $5,600. That compiled on top of not getting Final Jeopardy gave Ken the lowest total I've seen from him so far. Good thing for him neither of the other contestants had a shot from the get go. An interlibrary loan assisstant and a law school student from Orange, CA? Ken didn't even need to show up today...

you think he is missing them on purpose so he can leave? He's gotta be ready to go home by now.

Would you give up the chance to earn $15,000 - $50,000 for a half hours work?

Actually I belive that game shows are filmed in bulk, taping 4-5 episodes in one day. He probably has only been there 3-4 days.

True, I forget that they tape a bunch together. But my conscience would get the best of me. I know I would let up a little. Why do you think he doesn't go for it all on final Jeopardy? Just betting a few grand. He has a conscience, and seems to have his ego in check.

You have to make the wager before you see the question (answer). Once he saw the question (answer) he didn't know the answer (in the form of a question) so he just said hi to a friend (I assume).

Does that clear it up?

Why would your conscience bother you? I see no reason for him to feel guilty for knowing the answers unless he's cheating. It does nothing but help the show. When was the last time Jeopardy had this much buzz outside of Saturday Night Live?
