Meth & Red 6/16, who's watching?
The commericals make it look corny as hell, but Meth + Red = me watching. Anybody else excited for this show?

I check out almost every new show. That's why I love Tivo. If it doesn't pan out then I can just cancel the season pass. No need to miss out on the beginnings of shows and then catching up later after hearing praise.

I'm watching. The television critic for the Philadelphia Inquirer says that this could be the best new sitcom of 2004-05 (but he also said that there was no laugh track, so take it as you will).

It started off a little weak and obvious, but it started to pick up a groove as it went on. It's not perfect, but it has potential. Hopefully they'll expand past the "rappers in a white neighborhood" setup and use other aspects of their lives in episodes... career stuff like video shoots, recording in the studio, talk show/celeb party circuit... perhaps going back to their old neighborhood to visit, etc. Maybe I'm trying to turn this into the urban "Curb Your Enthusiasm", I don't know. But if they stick to the one note they won't last very long.
Still, I liked it. They have great chemistry together. Oh, and lose the laugh track.

I enjoyed it. It definitely showed promise, and I think it will get better in the future. Method and Red both seemed very comfortable in their roles and their timing and delivery was very good.
The laugh track definitely needs to go--it seems odd hearing a track when you know there is no audience watching this being filmed. Regardless, I'll be tuning in next week.

I really wanted to watch this, but I Tivo'ed Drew Cary and watched Last Comic. I wish the dual tuner Tivos were out already.
