Jacquese has to come to terms with his dad's absence in his life and talk to him about it. His mom comes to visit which seems to be the catalyst for that. IMO he is overreacting a bit about it, I don't know if it is the cameras or just more behind it than what is shown/said on TV. I was in a very similar situation when I was a kid as him with my father.
Robin and Cam fall into the water to get out of working. And supposedly there is a new roomate...but he is rarely on TV

I know the new guy, he's a friend of a friend. Frankly, he is a major tool, someone we all used to make fun of. And girls hate him too.
Funny to see him on TV keeping up with his desuchbag ways...

I gave up on the Real World during the Chicago season, but my friends told me this one was great. So I just finished watching the marathon today while following up on the threads. It was pretty damn entertaining. I really wanted to like Frankie because she reminded me of underage hottie Ellie, who is also a cutter on Degrassi, but she was just too annoying. Ja's one liners, especially about the toothless woman and Bazooka Joe were comedy gold. But Randy's comment about being sober takes the cake.

Just curious...why does Ja not hang out with the others? I'm catching these in re-runs but whenever they all go out, he's just at the house. And for Halloween, they all dressed up and he didn't.
Does he just not like being around them?

The other finest moment, also courtesy of Randy, was when Brad was in jail and Ja made a "Free Brad!" sign to wear on his chest. Randy tried to make one too but he was too drunk so he wore a piece of paper on his chest with indecipherable squiggles drawn all over it. They barely showed it but imagining him making it and taping it to his shirt just makes me crack up. Then said the immortal words "We committed no crime... but LIVING!" Awesome.

Well, this is why there are only 3-4 episodes after Charlie was added to the cast because he was a bore. I guess when the producers went to cut the episodes this season, they realized that Frankie's drama-antics were pretty much going to be the bulk of the show, even though she left 2/3 into the process.
Cameran may be 20, but she's still immature, though very effusively hot.
Jamie is stepford-ish in her enthusiasm at work.
Ja's "You do dirt, you get dirt" was funny.
I do hate the way the producers/editors play with the timeline of this season, you have less arcs, and more non-connective episodes as a result.

Is Cameran 20 or 21? I thought she was 20, because she went to my high school and graduated two years after me, in 2002. But TV Tome lists her birthday as January of 1983. Someone's wrong here.
