Time Warner Cable Drops G4TECHTV!?!

I went to change channels earlier to G4TECHTV to watch the screensavers (ch 105 here in NYC) and noticed that the channel would not change. i went to the guide and, to my amazement, the channel was gone. dumbfounded, i went to the g4techtv forums and find this thread:

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

it looks like TWC has dropped the channel all together.

how much does this blow ass. :(

I saw this channel for the first time the other day and I was really impressed. Some show was on showing movies from SILENT HILL 4 THE ROOM.

But I do know that they decide which channels to keep and which ones to dump based on customer response. So maybe G4 wasn't getting any action from customers?

Probably moreso that G4 (and now G4TechTV) is owned by Comcast, Time Warner's chief cable competition.
