I'll check it out, though it sounds like "Raising Helen: The TV Show".

I just discovered a similar thread in another forum w/ almost the same comment as the one you made above. I completely forgot I registered there a long time ago.

This show was - how do you say? Ah, yes - not so good.

The little boy was terrible and I didn't care for much of the music. But Lori Loughlin is still gorgeous as hell.

It won't last long so you probably shouldn't waste your time unless you are really bored or a major fan of the lovely Lori Loughlin.

Lori looks great to be forty. It was hokey and predictible. I like it I like cheesey shows. I still watch 7th Heaven. I will probably keep watching it since there was nothing else on. The surf instructor was hot hot hot!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was really bad. A lot of really cheesy, bad writing plagued the show. The previews also seem like "7th Heaven" meets "The OC".

On the bright side, most of the cast is really pretty. It's part of the whole "unrealistic fictional photoshopped town" look, but still, very nice.

The kids however, were pale and creepy.

I'll watch if the TV's on and it's too far to reach for the remote. Maybe.

yeah that was somewhat painful... It felt like being in a toy store a few rows over from some bad parents as they go: "Yeah but please don't do that honey. Unless you want to and if it's ok for mommy and daddy to talk to you and ask you to stop maybe sort of kind of please maybe unless you really want to....." at some little kid..

Errrr sep on this show there were 4 grown adults not being grown adults.... blah...Odds are I'll watch a few more eps but I don't have high hopes it's going to get all that much better..

At least Lori looks great.

The kids were pale because they were from Kansas.

I absolutely hated the daughter. Oh man, I was so close to not making it through the entire 2 hour premiere.

The surf "instructor" was nice eye candy.

Nice to see the love of Barbara Gordon (on Birds of Prey) found work on another WB show as Johnny.

Yeah, the WB has its own "cadre" of actor to draw from and they just move them from one failed show to the next new show.

Lori Laughlin was also on "Birds of Prey" as the original "Black Canary".

And she had the high-pitched shriek as a defense mechanism.
