Exactly. I am trying hard not to click the link.

Bandoman 05-24-04 08:59 AM

I read it. I'm only really disappointed about one of them.
Spoiler:
No Michelle? That sucks - she's hot.

Mittman 05-24-04 09:18 AM

Sherry wasn't signed on as a regular this year, but she's been in a large chunk of episodes.

Actually, I don't think there are many spoilers per se. Given the circumstances this season:
Spoiler:
I'm not surprised that Tony and Michelle could both be leaving CTU. Not having Chase back is a minor surprise, but frankly I don't think his part in the show lived up to expectations.

areacode212 05-24-04 11:47 AM

Man, that's disappointing about
Spoiler:
Reiko Aylesworth. I wasn't a huge fan of Michelle last season, but starting with the hotel episode, I thought she did a pretty awesome job as a kick-ass action girl. She did some nice dramatic work in those episodes, too.

I couldn't care less about Chase. I think we were supposed to find him really cool & badass, but instead I found myself rooting for him to die several times in the series.

I'll also miss Chloe & Adam--they were good sideline CTU characters. I also liked Agent Baker (Daniel Dae Kim), but he would only show up for 3 episodes or so, then disappear.

I already posted this earlier - but I was a little more subtile about my naming my thread...guesss I shouldn't have bothered

NOOOOOOOO!

Spoiler:
they dump michelle but keep Kim, what have they been smoking

Shannon Nutt 05-24-04 02:57 PM

Let's all remember that Penny Johnson (Sherry) was told the same thing at the end of Season Two and she came back for plenty of episodes this year.

Ranger 05-24-04 03:09 PM

Hope neither Palmer returns.

Rogue588 05-24-04 03:18 PM

Haven't read the spoilers, but I was hoping the same. I like Dennis, but damn, give him a WORTHY storyline..

tasha99 05-24-04 04:02 PM

I think the show would have been a whole lot better if the only actor they were committed to was Kiefer Sutherland. They've gone through ridiculous contortions to keep characters like Kim and Mrs. Palmer active, and even Nina. The show was at its best in its first twelve episodes, proving you don't have to have familiar faces to be entertaining.

Isn't Sherry Palmer dead now?

Last season she was only winged, this time she took direct shots to the chest!

With what went down with Tony this season, I don't see how he could have kept his job anyway!

Michael Corvin 05-24-04 06:47 PM

scroll straight to bottom to post... I will check back tomorrow night. ;)

Cartload 05-24-04 09:10 PM

I'd just like to add that after the events of this season, I'll no longer be able to trust what Dennis Haysbert says on those AllState commercials.

Michael Corvin 05-25-04 11:20 PM

Seasons over. No more spoilers. ;)

wow that sucks about Michelle & tony. As for Adam and Chloe, there have been different CTU desk people each year. This is nothing new. And who really wanted Chloe back anyway?

Agent Baker was good, when he was on. They should have incorporated him more. Maybe instead of forcing Chase on us. Chase was decent, but nothing spectacular. Jack works better w/o a partner.

hahn 05-26-04 12:50 AM

Funny that they would dump Michelle. Reiko is dating Keifer in real life. and he's one of the executive producers. I would've thought he could pull some strings.

DRG 05-26-04 12:58 AM

Considering almost everyone leaving is from CTU, is it possible that a) Jack will be working at a different CTU branch next season, or b) Jack wil be working in some other governmental capacity? Personally I think option A would be great as this show could use a change of setting in a major way. Los Angeles is getting boring. Or sending Jack on an overseas mission would be a nice change of pace as well. Probably out of the question budgetwise, but I can dream.

Groucho 05-26-04 01:44 AM

My wife predicts that next season will be a "Buddy" adventure with Bauer and ex-President Palmer.

Michael Corvin 05-26-04 06:43 AM

CTU: NY!
