I will check out the first 3 - 4 episodes and then decide. Joey was the main reason I watched the last couple seasons of Friends.
Will be keeping my fingers crossed, not really holding out much hope as a constant diet of Joey could get real old, real fast.

Nope! Friends is over and Joey should have gone with them. It's only a matter of time before his ex-friends start making appearances because of low ratings.
After Mash? Flo?
A review I read the other day said that it was amusing but not very funny.
After Mash? Flo?
Ill be watching. NBC ordered a full 24 episode season and apparently the pilot is getting good reviews.

Not that I'll watch. Friends jumped the shark years ago and Joey was my least favorite character.

I love those people who say the preview commercial looked horrible so they have no interest. The show is 24 episodes long. I don't see how any 60-second commercial can encapsulate a season-long sitcom. Sitcoms take time to develop and find their voice, so I will be giving this one a try. Would be nice if NBC gives it time to find its footing instead of yanking it quickly. Too many networks treat their sitcoms that way these days. Do you think Cheers or Seinfeld would have lasted as long as they did if the networks had that thinking back then?

Didn't you know? It's hip to badmouth a series before you see an episode. It becomes ultra-hip if the series is popular.

This thing will live or die based on the supporting cast. If they try too hard to revolve everything arouond Joey it will tank. The supporting cast needs to be interesting enough that they can have side-plots that amuse us as much as the Joey-centric plot lines.
