:(

It's always sad to hear an actor has passed away but even harder to take when they are so young. I was stunned when I heard and am still in shock.

Just saw the headline on CNN's front page. Damn. :(

IMDB has now updated the Richard Biggs page to include his date of death.

I found that to be so depressing - it's so damned final. Until that date of death was added it still seemed like this whole thing could still be a mistake. I knew it wasn't a mistake, but, dammit - it had to be a mistake! People don't die of natural causes at 43!

Unfortunately, though, they do - and Richard was one of them. I'm still in shock from this news. It hasn't fully sunk in yet. It's not like I was the world's biggest Richard Biggs fan - but I really liked him as an actor and he seemed like he was a genuinely nice guy, and now he's gone - and FAR too soon.

The Babylon 5 cast and crew reunion that will take place at his funeral is definitely not the kind of reunion that any of us - or them - imagined would happen. It's a shame that Richard didn't get to do more of the audio commentaries on the DVDs.

I'm going to have to go back and listen to the one that he did for season 3. I wonder if he did one for the epsiode of Crusade that he guest starred on. (Maybe?)

He will definitely be missed.
