cartoon networks adult swim, not on fox
guess not :(

Another FOX comedy will return to the schedule in Summer 2005:

FAMILY GUY: Creator/Executive Producer SETH MacFARLANE serves up a fourth season of the animated comedy FAMILY GUY, fresh off the success of its top-selling DVDs. The subversive series presents the everyday trials and tribulations of family life, but with the distinctive twist and irreverent slant that only animation can provide. PETER GRIFFIN (MacFARLANE) is the father of this not-quite-so-average family of middle-class New Englanders. LOIS (ALEX BORSTEIN) is Peter's loving wife, who struggles to maintain a modicum of normalcy in their home life. Rounding out the Griffin household are their children: 16-year-old, angst-ridden MEG (MILA KUNIS); 13-year-old sweet-natured CHRIS (SETH GREEN); and 1-year-old STEWIE (MacFARLANE), a diabolically clever baby who's already set on conquering the world. And then there's BRIAN (MacFARLANE), the brainiest of the bunch, who also happens to be the family dog.

PRODUCTION COMPANY: 20th Century Fox Television
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: Seth MacFarlane
VOICE CAST: Seth MacFarlane as Peter, Stewie, Brian; Alex Borstein as Lois; Seth Green as Chris; Mila Kunis as Meg
 to it returning though

FOX aims to bring stability back to "24" next year. The series won't return until January, when it moves into a new time period on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET. The show will get a two-hour premiere and a two-hour finale. FOX Entertainment President Gail Berman also promises a two-hour special event episode in the middle of the season. The three instances of doubling down will allow "24" to reach its conclusion by the end of the May sweeps period.

So...it's safe to assume that this is what ABC'll be doing with Alias -- minus the "Very Special" episode in the middle of the season?

Yea but here's my dilemma. I don't like to ever watch anything "live". I tape my week's shows (yea, on my vcr) and watch them when I have 45 minutes set aside to watch them. This season was a real pain in the neck because I had to make sure I was home on Wednesdays to watch That 70's Show (because I was taping Smallville), and Thursdays to watch Friends (I was taping Tru Calling).

Next season is the same way. I'll have to make sure I'm home on Mondays to watch 24 (while I tape Las Vegas). I don't know *what* I'm going to do about Wednesdays though - Smallville, That 70s Show, and Lost are all on at the same time. I guess I'll make sure I'm home to watch Smallville, tape Lost, and download That 70s on bittorrent.

If I bought a tivo or something like that I would still have the same dilemma right? Or can it record two shows that are on at the same time?

Plus doesn't tivo have some lame monthly fee?

the cheapest route is another vcr, splitter and some cable.

Heard of the line up and seems fairly good. Can't really think of anything bad except the many encores. Fox really can't find a way to fill up those few half hours of air time? I mean if they only didn't cancel a few things. Oh well, Method and Redman seems to be where they are putting their money on. Sounds like a UPN move if you ask me, but any Fox production is good news for me.

Jack - you need to punch the ******* who cancelled Keen Eddie in the face for me. Or just hook a brother up w/ an Alien director's cut DVD. :D

I am pissed about King of the Hill being placed in the 7:00 slot in November, which effectively means that the new season won't really start until January because of football pre-emptions. (Yeah, it moves back to 7:30 in January, but a fat lot of good that does.) Why can't they just admit that they don't have that hour to work with during football season, and give King of the Hill a real timeslot? Or failing that, do what they're doing with 24 and launch it in January. KotH gets no respect. (That they're putting on not one but two shows from the incomparably talentless Seth MacFarlane doesn't help my mood either.)

Im in partial agreement with Jaime (we differ in that I think Family Guy is great :) ). I dont like King of the Hill being in the slot that basically killed Futurama. But with the other networks scheduling at 7PM on Sunday, FOX isnt going to give up that time. But the 7PM slot needs to be a repeat of something for football season, then KOTH at 730. Also, if football ends after 730 and before 8, I wish they would flex the schedule (I know a lot of people hate it, but its better than "We now join King of the HIll already in progress." It annoys me that FOX ONLY flexes if football runs over into The Simpsons...as if it is the holy grail of television.
