well, I'm not sure Sherry's toast. After all, she took two gut shots. She's been stabbed there before, so this should just be another flesh wound.

She's not dead until she takes one between the eyes or the actress wants too much money to come back

Two low shots to her waist, that should be a tip-off ...
Which is a shame, Sherry has run her course.
Of course, it would be nice if she ended up in a wheelchair like Alan did. Too much to hope for perhaps.

Gotta Love Jack when he told Saunders that while his daughter died he make him watch. The season has finally kicked it up a notch. The Palmer storyline finally has some drama, and they are letting Jack be Jack, which is a good thing.
Oh, one other thing, but "there's not enough time!!"

Is Kim still around? Haven't been following the show as it doesn't really impress me that much anymore.
It's always refreshing to see Kiefer Sutherland get to do his cold-blooded schtick that he perfected so well in other movies.

Did anyone else think that the gun shots near the end were rather whimpy? I'm hoping that they are beefed up a bit on the DVD's. The gun shots at the end of season one when Jack is going balistic on the docks are some of the best, most powerful gunshots on DVD to this date. (Although nothing compared to Open Range.) That thing tonight sounded like a cap gun.
Otherwise a decent episode. I was a little turned off by the fact that Saunders gave in so easily. Must be a close relative of Syed Ali.

The weird thing is I was on IMDB and for some reason just checked out the 24 section about 30 minutes after the show and they already had 2002-2004 next to Sherry's name.

well, at least we had one fairly entertaining episode this season [last week's]. happy to see Jack mention his addiction.
perhaps Sherry had another pill bottle taped to her gut to catch the bullets...?
oh well. one hour to go...
[though, I fail to see how everything'll be concluded in 45 minutes...]

OK, the speed that they got from the LA River to the hotel was way too fast. It showed Jack calling on the radio for the helicopter, cut to a 3-5 minute Palmer and then cut to Jack/Saunders arriving at the hotel in a helicopter. There is no way this would be possible. The Hotel would have to be right next to the LA River, which it doesn't look like it is. The choppers would have to land, people walk out to them, get in fly to the hotel and land. Not possible in the 5 minutes the episode described.
