Wonder what Who song they'll use for CSI: NY
From www.petetownshend.co.uk (note that Won't Get Fooled Again is actually the title tune for CSI: Miami):

19 May 2004
The Who at Carnegie Hall

The band played a surprise three song set this afternoon at Carnegie Hall in New York at a show promoting the new CBS TV schedules. With the launch of the new CBS show 'CSI NY', which uses Won't Get Fooled Again as it's title tune, the band now provide the title tracks to all three CSI shows in the series.

To commerorate the launch the band played all three tracks, Who Are You, Baba O'Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again to an ecstactic (and, as I said, surprised) audience. The show was filmed so check your schedules to see when it's playing.

I couldn't take any video in the hall but sneaked a few stills off from a darkened corner and after a lot of photoshopping here's the result.

I hope to bring you video and stills from tomorrows show in Mansfield.

What an annoying color palette. I know these CSI all have their colored 'look' but that was just plain annoying. Besides, Without a Trace already kind of has this look although not quite as dark.

Other than the implausability that any police officer would show up in another city to investigate a crime w/o any notice of that city's force, it was an OK episode.
I had the same thought. It was like he figured he'd just pop up there for a visit.

As for the show itself, eh. I am getting kind of tired of CSI in general. The flagship CSI really dropped in quality this year. Miami has been mediocre at best. The shows are too similar IMO; at least the different incarnations of L&O have some differences. The only difference in CSI is the level of authority that the CSIs seem to have, which seems quite unrealistic (for NY and Miami).

I am going to drop CSI: Horatio's Sunglasses next season. I'll keep watching the flagship. As for NY, I'll check out a few episodes, but I am doubtful that I will take that much of an interest.
