CSI 04/29/04
Ok, this episode was just a big mess for me. It went into far too many tangents and I just completely forgot how Nick even got on the ATM scam thing in the first place.
Why was the lady in that cop's room if it wasn't for sex? I missed that answer. Steven Culp sure is making the rounds of TV shows this season: CSI, Enterprise, JAG. Any others? |
I liked the opening to last night's episode, but, like you said, it went all over the place by the end.

The cop who was killed had used his ATM card at the machine w/ the scanner, this was found by checking the ATM records in which Nick found people who had made withdrawls from one ATM (the one w/ the scanner) also made withdrawls (in sequence) at another ATM early in the morning. The person doing the scan had used the card number (not the actual card) at 3 in the morning leading Nick to believe someone who killed the cop had taken his wallet and used the card. Because the time on the camera was wrong they ran across the waiter (who was a red herring).
I agree the lady in the cop's room wasn't explained enough, I got the impression they were coworkers but it doesn't explain why he had his shirt off... It was kind of all over the place but I enjoyed it. |
Was it just me, or was Grissom in only like maybe 10 minutes of the entire episode?
I didn't care for this one either - but that may be because I knew immediately that Steven Culp had killed that guy...I guess that comes from seeing too many guest starring roles by Steven on other dramas. |

This show is losing steam. I pretty much it only because it's the only thing in HDTV to watch on Thursday nights, but I may have to re-visit this practice next season if things don't get more interesting.
