Here's another vote for Homefront

Strange, though.. i put this on videotape when it aired on TV Land 3 years ago. Over the weekend before this thread began, i started moving it to DVD -- i was thinking that this SHOULD be on DVD already. Too bad i didn't have my ReplayTV & PC setup back then... the quality would have been much better.

The three HBO series (and hopefully the Showtime series) are all presumably on their way sooner or later, but I want them all, and I want them all NOW! (OK, I'm willing to wait until the end of the season for Deadwood).
Dead Like Me comes out in June, Carnivale probably in December. I heard the Wire comes out in the summer but i'm not sure. I know Arrested Development is coming but i don't know when but the DVDs are coming. I've also heard Action could be here sometime this year too.

MAGNUM, PI!

And they have to throw in the Simon & Simon and Murder, She Wrote crossovers.

Where the hell is this set anyways? I thought that it was announced around the time BTTF had their recall then it disappeared. I really hope they're not waiting for their mockery of a movie.

LOL. Maybe they will give us a laser and peice of plastic, and paper with 0's and 1's, and we will have to make the DVD ourselves.

That was a good show.

I didn't know there was an ending that actually aired! I've e-mailed Fox about Space: Above and Beyond, they replied that they don't have plans to release it on DVD, yet. I think this will hinge on the success of the Millenium release.

Also, add votes for The State and Homefront - that show was so engrossing!

yep they had an ending, it was pretty cool, hoped they would have come out with a book to tye it up. Certainly left it open for a comeback.

1 died, 2 were lost could be dead could be alive and 2 made it back. (hope that is not what you consider a spoiler, thats why i left out the names

I would definitley buy every season of WKRP. Unfortunately, there are music rights issues with it so we may never see that one. I find it unfathomable that this show was only on for 4 season - cut down in its prime.

How much would you charge for DVD copies of those?

My mom has them all on VHS, but I don't even have a VCR hooked up anymore.

I second that!

Anyone remember the other animated show that came on CC for a while? Bob and Margret. I loved that show! I would love to see that on DVD.

Another one of my favorites....

Titus

It had a relavtely short run, but what a hiliarious show. Ken Titus was the perfect role for Stacey Keach.

Profit
Wonderfalls
Action
Miracles
The Amazing Race!!!
You can't do that on TV

A lot of the comedies I watched when I was younger ... I am afraid they might not hold in repeats.

G vs. E/good vs. evil

Just about everything else I previously would have mentioned is in the process of coming out (Millennium, Forever Knight, NewsRadio, etc.), or I've managed to find in watchable form (Batman: TAS, DuckTales, Action, Duckman, etc.). G vs E has proven frustratingly elusive, I never have the channel when SciFi randomly decides to marathon it, and it doesn't look at all DVD-bound anytime soon.

Oh yeah, B&M was funny!
I remember the grocery store episode when they got their "shopping" mixed up in someone else's "trolley".

I imagine most TV sets are sort of "test" releases. If they do well they'll release the others.

Knight Rider comes out August 3rd

-Pee-Wee's Playhouse
-Batman
-Maniac Mansion - anyone remember this show? Very funny family show (it ran on The Family Channel) made by Lucasfilm & some of the SCTV folks.
-The Dave Thomas Show -funny sketch show, probably only about 6 episodes. John Candy, Martin Short, Chevy Chase all guested.
-It's Garry Shandling's Show
-Action
-Gideon's Crossing -not the greatest show, but Andre Braugher was fantastic & I was just starting to like the rest of the cast when ABC took it off. I'd like to see it again.
-Leave It To Beaver -(though I'd only buy the 1st season or 2)
-The Fugitive
-Pete & Pete
-Jack Benny - a quality release
-Burns & Allen - a quality release
-The Flash - if only for The Trickster episodes
-Frank's Place
-more music shows like MTV Unplugged
-more Mystery Science Theater 3000
-more Larry Sanders

cartoons:
the 1st 2 seasons of ReBoot
Dr. Katz
Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley
The Alvin Show
Daria
Powerpuff Girls - in order in season sets
Home Movies
Mighty Mouse
Batman
Fantastic Four (60s & 90s)
Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends
Spider-Man (90s)
Project G.eeK.eR.
Duckman
Droids

Not crazy about the price, but I'm very happy that Northern Exposure is finally coming. I hope it does well enough for the entire series to get released.
