only 10 minutes into it for me, but so far its been really mean spirited. everyone hates each other. everyone is really crass. not exactly a bad thing, but just suprising

Lot of good one-liners tonight...

"I feel like Princess Grace and Princess Di all smashed together!"

"But I've never been to me."

Pretty decent episode, definitely had some good laughs.

Marge's line about the triple X throw down was hilariousrotfl

the catch me if you can montage was interesting.

It would have been better if they hadn't showed it to death on the previews.

When you have TiVo, you don't see previews :)

I liked the homage.

I have Tivo, but I'm compelled to watch when it comes to "The Simpsons."

I enjoyed the Catch Me if You Can montage (glad they used Williams actual music). One of my favorite scenes was when they went to the video store and Moe was in the "adult" section where the Merchant Ivory and Woody Allen films were.

Not bad, but I missed the first 10 minutes.

Could someone tell me where I can rent "TV Show: the Movie"?

whynotsmile is right, a lot of this episode was meanspirited. The above line was hilarious but pretty messed up. On the whole this episode was all over the place but it had a good amount of jokes.

The 'Catch Me' gag was cute the animation quality was low and it went on way too long. What about that random ending? They didn't even follow up what happened to G'pa!

And where was Maggie during the entire episode? In the litterbox?

I kept wondering that myself. When they showed Flander's house, I thought for sure we would see Maggie in the background.

That would be the "Unfunny Woody Allen" section. :lol:

All in all, not good at all except for the boats at Niagara falls. That montage didn't do it for me so I turned the channel to watch hockey. I thought it started pretty good, but it went downhill so fast. Worst episode this season.

I thought it was great, espically when they were poolside in Miami and Homer and Marge were laughing hysterically at the other couple that wanted to have kids.

Anybody else notice the Futurama poster on the wall in the video store?

Maybe Fox should save their money from the Simpson's budget and put it into Family Guy. That or bring back Futurama. Simpsons is getting tired and old real quick...

Been watching less and less and I think this'll be my last. When That 70s Show ends after the next season I won't have any shows on Fox to watch.

The best scene is Ralph talking about his best friend (his finger), then proceeds to poke himself in the eye.

"You've double crossed me for the last time, finger!", pulling out a pair of scissors.

Ralph is so deliciously twisted.

But wasn't that the exact style of the opening title sequence for Catch Me If You Can?

The dropped Grandpa storyline was ridiculously bad writing... completely forgetting about Maggie was beyond unforgivable. The writers and animators have frequently forgotten to include Maggie even in the background of many episodes in the past two seasons. Unless someone can think of a gag to use her in, she is completely dropped from the episode.

Maggie should get her OWN episode which shows how she independently has her own adventures when the rest of the family takes off on a whack adventure and leaves her behind!

I think you may be expecting just a little too much form animated anarchist comedy. ;)
