Patman 04-22-04 08:58 PM

Damn, this was vintage Scrubs. It gave me laughs and tingles, not too many shows can do both in a 30 minute time slot.

I lurve hotdoc.

MrX 04-22-04 09:04 PM

"If I wanted to listen to people yammer about their lives I'd be at my AA meeting"rotfl

The Janitor rules

B.A. 04-22-04 09:05 PM

I like everything about HotDoc except for her chin.

If anyone has watched Scrubs for any lengthy period, you knew JD would react the way he did after he finally got Elliot.

Carla and Turk are great.

Good episode tonight ... better than Tuesday's, IMO. Constant chuckles.

boredsilly 04-22-04 11:36 PM

It boogles my mind how this show never lets me down. EVER! Turk and Carla are the best. I want my very own set. Can I have my Scrubs dvd boxset now, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

kantonburg 04-23-04 08:39 AM

Oh the Ross and Rachel skit was a good one too.

Gasspasser 04-23-04 08:53 AM

Ditto on the ross and rachel skit. Great ep

tofu 04-23-04 09:31 AM

Good episode. I like Todd in the OR and the no sex jokes rule.

Phyre 04-23-04 09:48 AM

Though the Ross and Rachel thing was clever its intertextuality does not fit with the show. I laughed my ass off but it the gag ripped me out of the Scrubs world.

JasonF 04-23-04 10:37 AM

I was glad to see the return of Harvey Corman. Richard Kind is funny.

By the way, has anyone else noticed how many Spin City alumni show up on Scrubs? In addition to Michael J. Fox and Heather Locklear, we've also had guest appearances by Richard Kind, Barry Bostwick, and Alan Ruck.

I've noticed it, too.

Alexander Gaberman (James) was on a couple of weeks ago as the painkiller addict Elliot was treating.

Patman 04-23-04 10:57 AM

Bill Lawrence (creator of Scrubs) is listed as co-creator/writer of Spin City on IMDB.

B.A. 04-23-04 11:00 AM

I know - I always liked Spin City (Michael J. Fox era), that's why I enjoy seeing who will be the next guest star on Scrubs. It's bound to happen a few times a season.

Snowmaker 04-23-04 11:03 AM

What season are they currently on, 3?

Yes.

The Antipodean 04-23-04 04:48 PM

Was that the season finale?

And anyone know what the song was at the end and who it was by?

Kal-El 04-23-04 04:57 PM

I believe the finale's not 'til next week.

No, one more episode

The song was One Thing by Finger Eleven

mkdevo 04-23-04 05:44 PM

i could have sworn that in the previews for next week they said 'the final episode before the season finale' - so that would imply there's 2 more episodes.

c-moon 04-23-04 07:14 PM

"If only Daddy had loved us enough to get a full body scan at Sacred Heart Hospital"

"You may already be dying!"

Oh boy, those had me rolling!

rvd1083 04-23-04 07:26 PM

There's still 2 more original episodes left to go for Season 3

RoQuEr 04-24-04 04:24 AM

wedding is the finale, I believe.

Have they signed on for another season? Will they still be residents?

Michael Corvin 04-26-04 10:27 PM

Why scrubs is great:

They get you with the Janitor antagonizing J.D. about being another Ross & Rachel. "You guys are like Ross & rachel. -Janitor", with J.D.'s reply "who?" Great funny moment... but because this is Scrubs why go for the easy chuckle... they throw on top of that...

Ya know, Dr. Ross & Rachel from accounting. A second joke poking fun. Any other show would have stopped at the first gag, not Scrubs.

Good stuff.

n0fear88 04-27-04 08:08 AM

"omg i dont want her" *freaky music* lol, cool way to end the episode :p

and i loved that "ross and rachel" scene :D

god damn this show rocks!!

oh and Mr X thanks for the song details i was gonna start asking Q's too :)

j123vt_99 04-27-04 08:43 PM

Dr. Cox said something to Harvey Corman about his name and he said something about "it doesn;t get me as many women as you think"... something like that ... were they talking about the harvey korman from blazing saddles?
