don't they have a theater in NYC? My company's datacenter is in chelsea and there is an Upright Citizen's Brigade theater on 8th ave and 26st. 1 block from the subway.

I've heard about the UCB theater. Do they mainly feature the 4 people from the series or is it a large group of people? Amy Poehler seems to be pretty busy nowadays. Does she still perform there?

As far as I know it is a large group of people. There are different shows each night. I would doubt Amy Poehler is as active as she was before because of SNL.

IIRC they use to teach improve classes there too.

They have lots of shows at the theatre, but on Sunday nights, it is Assscat 3000, which features the original UCB and special guests (Horatio Sans is there almost every Sunday, and he is great!). I don't go very often, but I haven't seen Amy Poehler perform in a long time. The other three are usually there (although I did go one night when none of them were there. But the people who took over were really funny.)

only once have i seen anyone in front of the theater. it's a small place in the same building as a mcdonald's and a drug store. i never paid much attention since i didn't know that it was so well known. I'll be in the area on friday and if anyone needs any info i'll be happy to oblige.
