Friends, why only 18 Eps this season ?
instead of the usual 24 ?

that sucks bigtime !

what is the reason behind this ?

From what I remember, most of the cast didn't want to do a full season. They wanted to concentrate on (crappy) movies. There was a compromise to do a shorter season.

And they still found felt the need to throw in a few clip shows in the 18.

So that Jennifer Aniston could concentrate on getting pregnant and starting a family.

Yet Courtney Cox Arquette gets preggers. Go figure.

BTW I guess they get the million for the clip show as well. One million dollars for eight to ten minutes of work. That's a pretty decent hourly wage.
