I thought it was another solid episode - not as good as last week, but better than most we saw last season. I don't think Feech will be back - it didn't hit me until the end of the show when Silvio said it was better than wacking him that Tony had set him up to get busted by the parole officer.

Another great ending last night - with Carmella coming home to an empty house.

I'm a little shocked at some of the people complaining about the show...this is the tone they've set for four years now - why would you expect differently? This isn't GoodFellas - things take a long time to develop on The Sopranos. I'm enjoying it immensely this season.

I'm willing to bet that late nights of booze, drugs, and five women at a time will age a person faster than late nights of posting to an internet message board.

I thought the car robbery was the best part. There is a guy lying on the ground with a broken skull and those people could only think about their cars, which insurance is going to cover anyway. Shows there is no difference between Tony and them.

If you took the ten minutes that something actually happens from each ep in a season ans strung them together, you'd have a really really good hour long show.

Geez, They spent more time showing AJ stuck to a floor than on the supposed gang war.

Am I the only one who thinks that Tony and Carm should have changed residences? Instead of AJ moving into the smaller house with Tony, keep him in the house he grew up in and move Carm into the smaller house. Now Carm is in the big old empty house by herself.

I have my doubt that AJ is getting into college at this rate, living with his pop (even if he knew not to cross his dad when told to go do his Spanish homework). Then again, there's always junior college, or Tony can flash some cash to get AJ into a 4-year college.

I cracked up hard when Feech was being sent back up the river via the bus.

I thought it was a darn fine episode. Bummed to see Feech gone already, and Lorrain, we hardly knew ye.
I already like it a lot more than I liked Season 4. A good mix of family/other family stuff.

Sorry to see that so many people are finding the current season boring or slow ...... I think it's terrific, and last night's episode was a winner. The slow deterioration of everyone, and all their relationships, is fascinating.

You're complaining because you think of this as a "mafia show"

It's not.

It's about the life of a guy who happens to be the head of a mob.

In that life, just like any life, there's work drama and there's family drama. There's crazy times and there's quiet times.

The show is called The Sopranos--not The Whackings

I thought last night's episode was simply fantastic! I too am amazed that people are getting bored with this show! This season (last week's ep and this week's, in particular) have both been stellar episodes.

I especially liked the AJ sub-plot. It shows its effects on Carm and how she now lives compared to when her family was, well, a family. It was pretty sad when she walked into the empty house.

Feech and his poker games...that was a nice touch. Good to see DLR on TV as well - that was a nice surprise.

Seeing Lorraine out of the shower and getting spanked by the towel was classic...... I was cracking up.......

I agree. I thought they handled Feech brilliantly. They knew he was a greedy SOB and he took the bait.

I thought he looked like Spalding Gray, after being fished out of the river.

I don't think we'll be seeing Feech La Mana again either.

At least we know now why Steve Buscemi got his name added to the opening credits and Robert Loggia was only in the end credits.

I think its weird this season how not every character is in every episode:

This week: No Adrianna, Uncle Junior, Bobby, or Janice.

Last week: No Meadow, Carmella, Dr. Melfi

2 weeks ago: No Dr. Melfi

Then again, the shows probably always been like that and I just don't remember :)

I thought this episode was the best of the year.

The Feech conclusion was brilliant. Tony couldn't whack Feech! After all, Tony even shed a tear when he knew he had to be taken care of. The card game where everyone is laughing at Tony's jokes and then the last flashback where they zoom on Feech's scowling face. AWESOME!

The whack-hungry got their fill in the beginning with Lorraine. I'm sure NY will turn into massive whackings for all the naysayers.

The car heist was excellent. "They left all the American cars." "And you laughed at me when I said to keep the Regal." or whatever the line was.... :lol:

As far as AJ, I can't stand him and his scenes but last night was hysterical. The party scenes and then the two kids left behind. Very funny. They NEED to show what happens to AJ because the divorce will only drive AJ to the family business.

I loved it. Those that think it was slow...I understand your pain. I just started watching this year, but watched all the seasons on DVD leading up to this. I would watch 4-6 episodes a night. They are all about this slow, but if you watch a bunch in a row, you watch now and hunger for more becuase there is still so much left to see. I can handle that.

Also, I think the whack hungry probably are looking for something that is less truthful. This is probably closer to the truth than anything else about the "business" Whackings are probably avoided at all costs.

AJ's a wuss. Remember his scream when he saw the bear in the opening episode?

Good episode... made me uncomfortable, but then that is sort of the point of the show, isnt it?

You know you've been out of high school a long time when...

AJ scores a 975 (or something close to that) on his SATs and that's considered dismal? When I was in high school (in the 80's) this would be in the top 20 percent or so of all students. Only the gifted kids and honor roll students managed to get up over 1000.

If someone scored a 1200 or better, they'd be the talk of the town...now it seems like that's a starting point for college enrollment.

Hilarious episode. Whenever they showed AJ's naked face w/out eyebrows it made me laugh hysterically.
