The Amazing Race 6 application is up
 

On Friday, with no fanfare, CBS posted the application for The Amazing Race 6 on their website. There's also a link to the app on the CBS homepage.

The deadline for the apps is April 13th, with the race scheduled to start in August.

Though there's been no official announcement, this is a very hopeful sign, imo. If nothing else, it shows that CBS must feel that TAR5 will be enough of a success (once it's aired) to justify beginning the process for TAR6 at this early stage. They're not waiting for Emmy wins this time.

I also noticed that the semi finalist cities have been changed, and have heard from other sites that this is in fact legit.

Fixed it.

This is certainly encouraging. I hope they go through with season 6.
