Buh-bye, Colby!
Lex pulls off a coup by rallying the women of Mogo Mogo to boot out Colby after they lose the combined immunity/reward challenge. Kathy was selected by Chapera to spend the day with them as they stuffed themselves with plenty of good picnic-style food.

Like I mentioned, there was only one challenge which was a combined immunity/reward challenge. Chapera won, and they were able to also pick a member from Mogo Mogo, and they picked Kathy to go with them to eat like kings.
Ethan blew the lead when he couldn't get a knot untied to pick up a paddle in the woods, and Rob beat him in that part of the race, which made all the difference. Ethan apologized for screwing up.
Colby went to Ethan to secure his vote against Jeri, who have been shown to be pretty lazy and annoying (what else is new?) and then Lex was brought in by the boys to secure his vote, and he played it cool, and then Lex made the case to vote out Colby to Jeri (who wanted to at least outlast Colby in the game), and then convincing Shii Ann was a little tougher since she can't stand Jeri, but in the end, she bought into Lex's paranoia of Colby being around after a merge and doing well in the individual immunity challenges later.
The Chapera tribe had a great time on the 94 foot boat which had a nice spread of food (hamburgers, hot dogs, etc), and they all stuffed themselves silly. Plus there was an open bar on the boat as well, so they were getting a little drunk. Golf balls and golf clubs were provided for the survivors to hits some balls off the back of the boat. Rob claimed that he played on a state championship golf team in high school. The first time Rob takes a swing at the ball, he slips and busts his butt. Very funny. Tom was a little dangerous with the club. The women were horrible at hitting the golf balls. Rupert out-fished Tom with one stick while Tom had 4 fishing rods and didn't catch any fish.
Kathy admitted to being in cahoots with Lex and Shii Ann, but Chapera members don't know to trust her or not on her "outspokenness" of her tribe's innerworkings. Kathy fit right in with Chapera, but knows that she has to play it cool when she gets back to Mogo Mogo, as it should help when the tribes merge later.
The tribal council sort of backfired on Colby when Shii Ann labelled him the most indispensable member of the tribe (i.e. the strongest) and Colby got all ver-klamped by the pronouncement. He was right to feel that way as Shii Ann's swing vote is what did him in. She even said that Colby should have not underestimated her power.
Colby got the boot 3-2 (Jeri got votes from Colby and Ethan).

That was a great immunity challenge. It wasn't that close at the end but Mark Burnett and the gang really know how too edit this show

Thought there should have been a seperate immunity challenge. We have already been shorted two ICs due to quitters and now they pull this. The reward was just too good. The producers should be hardest on these guys in terms of what they are given, since they are supposed to be all stars. Instead, the "all stars" have had it the easiest of any prior season.
It sure was hilarious to watch those drunk people try to hit a golf ball!
Oh, btw, Shii-ann needs to go now. Cathy is full of herself.

BTW...it wasnt Ethans fault, they had the lead after both rafts were heading back to the dock.
BTW, if Jerri went off instead of Colby, Chaperra's tactic of taking Kathy would have been wrong. I would have given Jeri immunity, causing Mogo Mogo to vote someone good off, but they did anyway

I'm still rooting for Rob and Kathy. Rob can be an ass, but at least he is funny as he goes along.
It was great when he said his golf team played for the state championship in high school - his falls on his drunk ass the first time up, then loses the driver to the deep darkness later.
Did Tommy call the yacht "a fancy mobile home that can float"? Or something to that extent? He's too much sometimes.
Finally, they kept Rupert in the background for a while - they need to do the same w/ Shii-Ann.

I concur. Those women aren't dumb -- they're going to boot Lex if they get the chance. Ethan has proven that he is little threat for immunity when it comes to challenges, after all.
