Was that the ep where Amy went to their side? I guess so....so I don't know if it was Amy or the stolen apt that won it for them.
It just seems funny to me that the one time she goes over there they win. And I think Trump is pretty well aware of that.

Troy just rubs me the wrong way. He's so slimy.

I don't like Troy either. Has Amy led a group yet? Either way, I'm sort of interested to see what happens the first time she has to go to the boardroom, because I agree that Trump likes her.

My money is on the Cigar business owner. Bill? (This week's winning PM.) He has come up with some great ideas, and is very "even keeled." Intense when needed, calm when needed.

As far as Katrina is concerned. Yes, she's hot. I wonder tho, due to editting, if we are getting the whole story. Bill only made the one comment "on the show", but there may have been other instances as well. Not defending..just giving her the benefit of the doubt. But in any case, the exchange at the table was not handled correctly.

I also don't think Kwame riding the bike was a waste of time...it was the game plan. If it was, then selling the tickets was a waste of time as well. When he realized he wasn't making any money he should have come up with another idea tho. When they saw the advertising, could they have rushed out and tried to steal the idea with at least one merchant? How much time had passed? Hard ta tell when a 24 hour project is editted to an hour.

So what am I saying? That's right..that's what I'm saying. :)

Amy has been PM in week 2 (ad campaign for the airline) which I think makes her about due this week...

Seriously, though. I've been cheering for Troy from early on. But, after Trump's comments on last night's show, I'm thinking he is on thin ice. And I've wanted to see Nick fired for a while now, but Trump seems to like something about him.

So, I'd like to see Troy & Amy. But, I think we'll see Nick & Amy. Because they are setting up the relationship thing, and I'm betting they'll want to set the two "lovers" against each other.

Who sings the theme song for this show?

That would be the 1974 hit "For The Love Of Money" by the O'Jays

i cant wait to hear... NICK your fired......

Oh man.....

Oh maybe we can hear... Hey katrina.... nice legs... your hired...

If Troy gets evicted next week I'm going to miss his expertise on critiquing art:

"This picture tells me every guy wants a virgin outside the bedroom and a whore inside the bedroom"

Correct answer

Amy should win. Trump likes Nick.

And the best part about last night's show was when Trumpt said something like "I should fire all 3 of you".

IIRC, and in my opinion, Amy did not show much leadership skills or initiative in that episode or any episode yet.
Tammy came up with the phallic symbol campaign and Omorosa pitched the campaign to the ad agency which was bizarre because she didn't believe in it.
She may win but I think Amy would be a fantastic number 2 person but we really haven't seen much of her. They edit her as the person who pipes in with a good idea but she hasn't had much else camera time except the whole thing with Nick.

I think Trump will have 1 man and 1 woman for the finals and I have a feeling he will pick a woman which probably means Amy will win.

Jimmy James 03-12-04 07:26 PM

Stolen apartment

Troy does seem to be on thin ice, and I think it has a lot to do with two really nasty defeats in a row where Troy came up with nothing. I think he could easily turn it around with wins in the next couple of episodes, though.

If we want to talk about selling snake-oil, I think Nick is your man. That's about the only product I can think of where it doesn't matter what your product is and who you're selling it to...

She is the queen of the television. If she is awake and in the house, it has to be tuned to whatever she wants it on, regardless of whether she's watching it or not.

It's a bizarre compulsion, and I think it's probably rooted in some kind of psychological control need. It's kind of annoying, but it does give me time to goof around online or read books.

No offense, but reading this statement while noticing your sign-on as Josh-da-man, gave me quite a bit of chuckle....... :)

No one gets "fired" in tomorrow's episode (do we even need a thread for it then?). Here is the description for the next two episodes:

3-18-04
Spoiler:
Episode: A Look Back
Description: Donald Trump shows never-before-seen footage and explains some of the decisions he has made during the show's past 10 weeks.

3-25-04
Spoiler:
Episode: Circus, Circus
Description: The six remaining candidates explore the world of high-stakes gambling while crafting a promotion for Donald Trump's casino.

For those that didn't read the spoiler text, the 3-25 description starts "The six remaining...", which is all we currently have next.

And, just my opintion, but MAN is Katrina smoking hot... Until she speaks. I could never date her without having the urge to pull a gun on either her or myself. But I would :hump: her like there's no tomorrow.

Twice.

And tell my friends about it.

Amy was playing a Sharon Stone vibe on the yacht. I kept expecting her to uncross and recross her legs. :eyebrow:

Watching the boardroom scene today (yeah, a little behind on the TiVo) it was like how AI is now. Get rid of either of those three. There's no drama there. Neither one is going to win, so the elimination order isn't important.

If this were my business, Amy is the total package. Bill is a close second. None of the others (including everyone already eliminated) is even close. Can you imagine if Nick came back from his first task as real manager, and told The Donald that he gave the dude all his money back?

Stu 17 03-18-04 09:53 AM

Yea I could see Nick telling him he gave all the money back. It was the ethical thing to do, Nick knows that and would stand up for himself if his teammates or Donald thought it was wrong.

I would love to see him get instructed by Trump to negotiate a settlement with the person and then have him tell Trump that he decided to just give all the money back. Nick might be a good leader, but he is the worst type of follower you can have in a business.

If Nick thought it was not ethical to give the man a partial refund, he should have been clear about that with Bill. That is the only principled thing to do if we believe Nick felt it was so wrong.

nickdawgy 03-18-04 08:02 PM

Darn, I thought there was a real episode on tonight, not this look back crap :D

Patman 03-18-04 08:15 PM

But I did enjoy watching Ponderosa running her mouth about Amy and it's Ponderosa sitting on her fired ass and Amy is still on a helluva win streak.

BizRodian 03-18-04 11:46 PM

Damn, Ponderosa is a bitch.

Fok 03-19-04 01:02 AM

Hey Tammy looked pretty good in tonights episode 3/18, too bad she wasn't like that in the show.

shanester 03-19-04 03:09 AM

Didin't know that Amarosa took her little bump on the head to the extreme by calling a doctor and then going to the hospital -screwy-

She came off even worse on the recap. All those soundbites edited together made her out to be an even bigger bitch (as if that was possible). I can't believe how arrogant and full of herself she was

Looks like the real tensions begins in the next 6 weeks. I wonder if it's going to be every man/women for themsleves..

I think Amy has to be the front runner to win it all. Donald knows how smart she is and every idea she's come up with has been very successful for her team

Finale is April 15

Only FOUR episodes left

CaptStormy 03-19-04 08:11 AM

This morning while driving to work I heard a teaser from the radio jockeys that Amy is filing a lawsuit against the show. Unfortunately I could not hear the report with the specifics. Did anyone else hear what they are talking about?
