This reality show dreck debuted on Fox tonight. I thought it was less than compelling, but maybe it gets better. Anyone catch it?

Bad, silly show.

At least there's a financial aspect to the show to making people want to stay in Eden as long as possible.

The guys were really dumb. I knew how the twist would end up as soon as the hostess explained the granny Smith apple angle.

Mary is so sheltered, it would seem.

Nope FOX, you're not sucking me in with this trash. You got me with Paradise Hotel. Not this.

I had this on while I was gambling online last night. Didn't see much to take my attention away from the table.

Deleted the Replay Channel for it.

The hostess is not bad looking, has the English accent, though she's more cold and menacing than Amanda from Paradise Hotel. The hostess also has a strange looking chest.

Paradise Hotel... that's the show this reminds me of. It's like the same kind of show. I couldn't think of the name. What's the deal with their stay being indefinite? Like, they might have to stay there forever? Fox is gonna keep up their lifestyle forever? They're gonna have some show 30 years from now with a bunch of middle aged lazy-ass fat sloths?

I think the contestants start out with $4000 and get $1000 for each week they are in Eden. Should they get the boot, they only walk away with half of what they banked during their stay in Eden. Should someone just quit the show and leave, they get nothing.

Looks like it has promise, except for the chick with the annoying accent.

The people were simply...simple. Unlike Paradise Hotel, where most of the contestants were idiots in one sense, but not stupid if you get what I mean. These people I just feel sorry for, but maybe that is how Paradise Hotel started since I ddin't watch in the beginning.

Speaking of PH, was this the "Just wait until next year" that they talked about on the final PH. It is basically the same thing and made by the same people...or is there actually another PH. I want to see the cast from last year brought back to do it all again...

It's the same voice-over/commentator guy too.

I think it will be good if the new arrivals stir the pot and have some brains.

This show is going to quickly turn into "Who's the biggest suck-up?" to stay in Eden.

I think they said it would be on again tonight. So it's daily rather than weekly?

This show sucks. Reality TV was bad enough, but now every show has so many 'surprise' twists that all the rules might as well be thrown out of the window.

I've watched 1.25 episodes and thats more than enough.

With the teasers, I thought this show had real promise. But I was thinking of just one man and one woman naked in some paradise jungle tested in many ways by one temptation after another. That would interest me. Not another Survivor/Temptation Island rip-off. So I don't haven't any interest and haven't watched.

I didn't watch it last night. Can someone give a brief recap?

Everyone hated the blonde girl from arizona cuz she had never seen a black person before and said a bunch of ignorant things... the guys were told they could vote on who is the least desireable woman. They all voted for blondie. She got the apple and was told it was evil. They all had a meeting and they were told that she could get revenge and pick one guy to banish. Then she thinks about it for 24 hours and everyone kisses her ass (so pathetic) and then she makes her choice and another twist... she gets to decide whether to spare him or banish him. She selects a card... he is holding a card that she got along with the apple and was told not to open - they open it to reveal another twist - if she selected banishment, she is banished as well... if she selected spared, then she is spared too. she banished him and herself - good riddance anyway cuz they were both really sucky people. I actually can't find anything to like about any of these people. I don't really dislike any of them either... *yawn*

I watched the first episode but not the second. Who did she pick to banish with her? Don't plan on watching the show anymore, but just curious. :)

I saw the first two episodes. Not too interesting. Anything happen other than the ceremony to banish? I'll give this show a couple more episodes and see if there is something interesting developed.

She banished the guy who she thought was her friend but turned out to backstab her at the end.

Was that the musclehead?

Why didn't she boot off Matt, the guy with the big front teeth? Couldn't stand that Momma's boy.

Okay, for someone who actually likes a lot of reality stuff, is this any good? I have the two episodes taped and wondered if it was worth my time.

I watch a lot of reality shows enjoyed many, including shows like Survivor, The Mole, Amazing Race, Bachelor, Joe Millionaire, etc... I consider Forever Eden to be a below average reality show after watching the first two episodes. Kinda like Big Brother. If you like Big Brother, you might like it.

Yeah - it's basically Paradise Hotel 2, so if you liked that you might like this. I only watched PH a handful of times and then caught most of the last episodes... this seems like another one you can just miss alot of if you don't like the current cast since it's on a constant rotation.

Whe a reality show has absolutly no percievable rules...it sucks
