Right now, definitely. Compared to 80's Murphy, not a chance in hell.

This episode was a flawless victory. Everything was hilarious.

Drop 02-18-04 09:58 PM

Well of course I meant now, Delirious is a classic. But If Charlie can stay consistent (or just keep getting better), unlike his younger brother, than I'd go as far as to say he's just as funny.

"In your face Charlie Murphy"rotfl

Mopower 02-18-04 11:03 PM

"Would you gentleman like some grapes?" Charlie Murphy is so awsome I hope he's on every week.

Another great episode. Ill agree that right now Charlie Murphy is definately funnier than eddie. The face he made after the pancakes quote was hilarious. "Pancakes, I ain't makin this sheet up".

I loved the slow motion of "Prince" dunking and then just hanging there for a bit.

I almost couldnt breathe when Tron held up the sign that read "Fif."

Something I actually saw happen (gotta love Dan Abrams' MSNBC show...)

That whole Law and Order bit was just classic. "You'll have plenty of time to lift weights and convert to Islam."

god... charlie murphy is one funny m.f. I love those stories. I always wished he did more movies or tv after seeing him in CB4

Drop 02-19-04 07:33 AM

I think what makes Chapelle's Show so great is that, unlike most other sketch comedy shows, he just doesn't take the same characters and put them in practically the same sketch everytime. The characters are always in some new situation and enviroment, and that really helps keep the characters and show fresh.

looney2k2 02-19-04 08:27 AM

Dave Chappelle as Prince was as priceless as he was Rick James last week. One of the funniest things I have ever seen. I definitely have to get the dvd of the first season when it comes out next week.

"mayday, mayday! a crackhead is lifiting up the bus"

I can't believe it took me this long to discover this awesome show. Charlie Murphy.....rotfl

Gdrlv 02-19-04 01:32 PM

Man, the last 3 episodes have been absolutely classic. Rivals South Park as the funniest show on TV.

whynotsmile 02-19-04 03:39 PM

i loved the RED BALLS skit. When he punches through the glass to apparently save the baby but instead steals the radio, I probably laughed harder than i did all week.

whynotsmile 02-19-04 03:46 PM

do you guys know what is on the next episode? I missed the ad that shows a brief clip of next weeks show.
