NYPD Blue - 02/17/04

"Passing the Stone"

A Jewish merchant is murdered in a possible hate crime; Michael Woodruff's aunt is assaulted. Adult Situations.

Cast: Dennis Franz, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Gordon Clapp, Bill Brochtrup, Henry Simmons, Charlotte Ross, Garcelle Beauvais, Esai Morales, Jacqueline Obradors, Austin Majors, Andre Jamal Kinney, Cyrus Farmer, Lorna Raver, Sam Jaeger, Jerry Doyle, Tony Colitti, Tim Kelleher, Meredith Lieber, Keith Robinson, Michael Cavanaugh.
Director(s): Carol Banker.
Producer(s): Steven Bochco, Mark Tinker, Bill Clark.
Writer(s): Bonnie Mark .

I'm very happy to see that they finally seemed to put an end to the running storyline involving Baldwin, Michael and his murderous father. Michael finally confessed about his dad and now it looks as if Baldwin is going to be his guardian. I really like the role Andy played in rapping this up, too.

Looks like Esai Morales's minutes are numbered on the show now. That really sucks - he has always been one of the better additions they have made to the cast over the years.

Quit the force or bang Rita? I think the answer is obvious.

The Lieutenant has "chosen wisely".

Blech. Couldn't care less about Lt./Rita. Glad to see the lil' kid thing (sort of) come to a conclusion--that'd been hanging out there WAY too long. Best scene: "Put your hand down, Baldwin." Man, he is one big dude...

I thought it was a pretty good episode. It was nice to see them finally wrap up the Baldwin and Michael story. Now that it looks like Baldwin will become the kids guradian, if wonder if they'll just end it there and forget about it, or will Michael be getting into some kind of trouble further down the line.

Anything that has the chance to get Jacqueline Obradors's clothes off is a good thing in my book.

I'm glad they wrapped up the Baldwin/Michael's father story.

The looks on Andy's face when Clark knew each rapper that was named was priceless
