Curb Your Enthusiasm 02/08/04
"This chronic is the shiznick!"
Last week and tonight: Best Episodes of the Season. Thoughts? |
Thought this week was a letdown after last week's...but still better than some of the other ones this season
|
Great episode. I haven't seen any new ones the last few weeks. When did his dad come into the story?
|
I laughed harder at this episode than any other this season. Larry going Gollum on himself while stoned was classic.
|
That's definitely my favorite episode of the season so far. His dad cracks me up.
|
OMG, that was perfection. The scene with the drug-dealer was priceless! "I... uh, I have to walk this way..."
Great stuff indeed. :) |
Oh man, this episode was seriously funny.
"This is some good shit!" :D The hooker that Larry picks up was hilarious. Larry's schwag-induced dialogue with himself in the bathroom was also amusing as hell. |
Better than that was when he was schilling for the hooker at the game. "If you guys ever need a blowjob..." I was dying.
"Why don't you get your father to start the car" |
"Well, I might have a problem because the defendant is a negro."
Larry must of been acting like a Republican again. ;) I also like Larry starting to be mean again with the line "Why don't you get your father to start the car". He's been too nice to people this season. |
lol- and he finally got the golf tip!!
Each week he gets closer and closer to the "anniversary gift," and Cheryl keeps nixing it... this season's definitely been picking up! The hooker was great, too- anyone else remember her from the 2nd and 3rd Friday movies? She played Ice Cube's step-Aunt... |
Prostitute: "You better watch it or I'm gonna whip some big titty out"
Larry:"Don't you whip that titty out." or something to that effect. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA |
Very good I thought. Second best this season I thought. I love it when he tries using his Seinfeld connections for personal gain but it just never works out...
|
Phenomenal episode. I laughed more this episode (and last week) than I have in a long time. Keep it up Larry!
|
"which you proceeded to blow"
I certainly laughed more at this one than any other this season. |
Very funny episode. Feels like a return to more of the stuff that he did last season.
|
I liked the cool-de-la reference from Krazzy Eyez killah!
|
Excellent ep. I liked the line about the hooker only getting one hot dog at the game, which she "proceeded to blow."
|
Habits die hard.
|
I LOVE how Jeff empowers Larry's dumb ideas. He's such a great character for Larry to plot with, because he essentially never disagrees with Larry. That's why it was even funnier when the two wives finally let them have it last week.
This show gets better and better. |
Larry David is a genious. I barely watched it in the previous seasons even though I still liked it, but this season has me totally hooked. Like don't plan anything on sunday's so I can watch TV kinda hooked :)
|
Agreed - awesome episode...and he finally got the golf tip.
|
Anybody else think the drug dealer kinda looked like John Belushi?

Originally posted by Samuel Anybody else think the drug dealer kinda looked like John Belushi? I really liked this episode. Much more scrited and plot driven than many this season, and that made it a little more sit-commy, but it also tightened up the focus a lot. BTW If Larry was in the position to force Funkhauser into doing a favor for him, why not get him to let Larry and Jeff back into their club? That's gotta be a bigger priority than the weatherman's tip. Are they saving that ploy for a later episode? |
Was there a new episode last night?
|
Found it myself:
